I have a student who has one of these. I have no idea what it is apart from it's full of creamy valve goodness, hugely heavy and has 2 pre-amps - one normal Trace and one valve pre with no EQ just gain. I have Googled to no avail. Anyone throw any light on this? TIA.

If you go with anodised, then Jeannie's do one in plastic over the gold stuff which would save you getting that fingernail on metal vibe that I hate with mine
