Very funky these are. Nice review. Like you Frank, I find that infinite options only offer infinite dissatisfaction. I have owned 2 filter based preamped bassses in my life. They had to go. I was so preoccupied with twiddling that I never stopped thinking about them. I know other people love the filter based preamps. They just do not suit how I percieve things. I have pan controls of several basses. I NEVER play anything but dead center. On/off buttons make a lot of sense.

It is the concept of 3D printing something for not much money which I can then populate with the contents of my parts drawer which I am finding very attractive. Up until a month ago I even had a spare 5 string neck lying around looking for a home.

I am using a Sadowsky pedal into QSC K10.2 and unless I wanted to fight with a drummer I would not carry anything else.

To be clear, I have not actually watched it yet so cannot actually vouch for it.

I used to gig a Boogie D180 through a Bose 802. I enjoyed it.
