Jaco. But not for the tone, or for the chops (I would have, but....). I hear his syncopations in what I play. Not the fast stuff or anything we would recognise as "Jaco". -

Final piece of advice, make sure you get the impressions done with a thing that keeps your mouth open. I was on my 4th set before I learnt about this. It gives a much better seal.

Yep, I was just mourning the fact that my loud days were too LOUD and that I can no longer do those. But I can still do deep.

My hearing is too compromised to get excited about loud any more. But deep is The Bomb. I had an ACME 12" which was appreciably bigger than the "standard" 12" cabs. It went beatifully deep.

That kind of looks like a RA Deep 5 which has been left too close to the fire and has melted a little. In a good way.
