    Sorry, I have to ask what the issue was. I have looked but cannot see. My wife has suggested this is a problem in general for me.

    It arrived. It is a shade under 8.8lbs and I really like it. I cannot deny I like a FSO and it is ticking all those boxes.

    I had a bass which cost more than I care to even think about. The scratchplate was not cut well. I sent Brian Pillans it with a description of what was wrong. The replacement was bang on.

    I lucked out on a 73 P with an A neck. With a massive brass nut for the full 70's experience!

    I think I am naturally left handed but have always used my right as my dominant hand. I most certainly do not have the right hand dexterity I see many, many others operate with ease.

    Thumb position. We play the best of instruments. We have the best notes. And yet, people want to go and imitate 'cellos being played badly by playing really high up. I just do not get it.

    But they are a high tax country. I do not understand, we have been told that does not work. Surely our government would not lie to us?

    Love Jazz basses? Love old Jazz basses? Love reliced finishes? Love mirror smooth fretless boards? Love a bass thay plays beautifully but you can ding on the side of the chair and not sweat it? This ticks all the boxes. These are the finest of the finest repro basses (yes Fender Custom Shop, I am looking at you). I used to own this and if it had a B I still would. I have a 66J and this scratches all the same itches.
