Get it fretted and retire from J4 GAS. -
Love Jazz basses? Love old Jazz basses? Love reliced finishes? Love mirror smooth fretless boards? Love a bass thay plays beautifully but you can ding on the side of the chair and not sweat it? This ticks all the boxes. These are the finest of the finest repro basses (yes Fender Custom Shop, I am looking at you). I used to own this and if it had a B I still would. I have a 66J and this scratches all the same itches.

I saw a bass somewhere on the internet which had massively oversized vol and tone controls (trying to drag this back on topic). Obv on a FSO they would be all wrong, but on something with a different aesthestic they looked superb. -

I owned an NS Fretted Omni Bass once. It was a proper curved DB neck with frets. It was very comfy and, for those of us who come from a DB background, strangely like coming home. I miss it and would buy another if I ran into one at the right time.

Those were the directions I needed. Thank you. But Apple has clocked that she is running less than OS11.5 on her MBP so is refusing to sell it to her. Deeply frustrating, but there you go.

Thanks. I just created a folder called Obscure on the desktop and moved Logic into it. Logic is still in the Applications folder and there is an alias in the Obscure folder.

<sigh> I am back again. I have set up the student's account on my MBP, but after she logs in and goes to the App store it sees my copy of Logic so there there is no option to buy. Any further guidance? She is signed in as her on the App store. Thanks as usual.
