2x10 traveller...for rehearsals, smaller gigs/lower volume bands 2x10 front ported...bigger sound all round than the traveller Combining the two (as 8 ohm cabs each = 4 ohm load to the amp), is terrific as a stack that has been plenty for me over the years. Replace both for a 4x10 cab though for me, I prefer separate cabs for the sound. The 4x10 with a (either) 2x10 is mega volume. There are 15" cabs, both traveller and bigger. The traveller works very well with the 2x10 (or under the 4x10). The large 15" is a mighty beast, I had one but it was too much for the clubs, and sound engineer! Best used for large halls/ outdoor/ stadium stuff. As Grangur notes, what style is the volume you want is the final choice of cabs. Check the ohms per cab to get the best power off the amp. There are other cabs but the ones mentioned are the ones I use/ have had.

How about destructing a shoe rack into a speaker stand!

Not everyone is a writer or has published music so it may be a little difficult to really comprehend that it can be a nightmare to collect monies due IF you do not have a publisher or have assigned works to PRS and without either, your music may therefore be 'used' by people like soundcloud etc. and you would never know that they are making money from your writing while you the writer is not. PRS collects exactly as a publisher would when your music is used. Some publishing deals are good, others are not quite so good. If you decide to assign your music to PRS you would be expecting them to do exactly what they are attempting to do with Soundcloud or else, what is the use of any collecting agency. The reason to write music is usually to make/ add to your income as a professional musician. If you are a part time player this may not be important. If you make money fully from playing, writing etc, you need every penny due to you to survive, pay the mortgage etc. There are many people who study for years at composing so why should they allow Soundcloud or others to use and abuse their music and therefore take away a part of the writers income?

shame you aren't nearer me either... but thanks for looking. I am not sure what postage would be. I can always find out and maybe should have done before my holiday. I saw a decent mains plug for about £6 on Ebay recently and not a cheap looking far east one (which I did use once and wasn't impressed0. The Boss one is in the £20 vicinity price. My last one got trashed on stage, my fault too!.
Im currently using a LMT800 head with x2 102P (2x10 Traveler) cabs and would like a little bit more thump but don't want to go up to the bigger 1x15, so heres what I'm thinking..... LMT800 2x10 Traveler (102P) 1x12 Traveler (121H) Would swapping a 2x10 out for a 1x12 give me better lows? I really do not want a 1x15" so no need to recommend it Current setup.
The larger Markbass 2x10 gives more low end. I use both larger and traveller 2x10 stacked, sometimes with bigger cab on the top to hear a bit more bottom end.
