  1. Looks like a Schecter Stiletto Stealth to me:
  2. Saw this earlier and loved it. Couldn’t help thinking though: has Scott got his stolen Moollon back? If not he must have been straining to hold back the pangs of lost-gear-sorrow watching Kevin Scott play his!
  3. This really is a bargain!
  4. Bass Direct no longer stock Bergantino, sadly. Something to do with rising import costs making it no longer viable financially I think?
  5. Oooh yes, nice work. Really good mod idea! I’ve always been curious about owning a single coil precision but had a feeling I’d miss the split P vibe. This is food for thought.
  6. Yeah I misread that somewhat!
  7. So maybe the issue is that there’s no 1/4” in?
  8. Hmmm. According to this blueprint they do:
  9. I’ve got the .105 set. No clang here, just thump!
  10. Seems like madness that there’s no gain control or XLR in...especially when they’re aimed to compete in a PA market wherein comparable products feature both of the above
  11. Good lord this is a bargain! I thought the price was a typo
  12. The gear I acquire tends to be purchased in the full knowledge that it’s going to be very good. However, the one purchase that caught me a bit off guard was my LaBella Black Nylon Tapewound strings. I bought them on a whim mainly out of curiosity as I was watching a lot of Janek Gwizdala’s VLOGs on YouTube and he has a couple of his P-style basses strung with them. So I took the plunge and bought a used set from the Basschat marketplace. Put them on my Sandberg Electra VS and my god! I pretty much knew I’d like the tone before purchasing. Tonally I find them to be very similar to my Dunlop Flats but the feel...so smooth and so bendy! Really like the looseness of them as they make me play a little differently which I enjoy. I have to use a lighter touch which makes me feel a bit more cheeky when playing The best part? I got two sets (one factory sealed, one used) for less than the new price of one!
  13. Glad this has been snapped up quickly. The buyer is in for a treat!
  14. Powerhouse amp! And a good price too. GLWTS
  15. The most obvious choice would be to replace the licensed (fake) Bartolini pups and preamp with the equivalent “real” USA Bartolini pups and preamp. They’ll drop right in.
  16. Agreed. The Taylor looks nice but the price tag is comical.
  17. This really is a bargain. These BTBs are rock solid.
  18. @basselfman, any photos? Does this come with the box?
  19. I’ve been staring at this for a while...
  20. A bit of a bargain here. These are genuinely fantastic basses. Those pickups and coil tap switches are excellent.
  21. Great stuff. Thanks for the info!
  22. Nice!
  23. Very nice! How was your experience shopping with Bass Freaks? I’ve never even thought to check them out but it looks like they have some very tasty gear on offer.
  24. Congrats! They’re fantastic basses! Is it a 1024x or a 2024x?
