  1. Just been having a gander at their back catalogue. Some real grooves in there! Finished listening to this one about 20 seconds ago and love it:
  2. Thomann have it ready for preorder: https://www.thomann.de/gb/cort_b4_fl_mhpz.htm
  3. I’m assuming (hoping) a 5 string will be imminent...
  4. A little photo comparison between the Ibanez SRH, Ibanez SRF and the new Cort: Definitely liking the look of this Cort! It’s likely to be very reasonably priced, too.
  5. Am I the only one who thinks the thumb rest should be the other way around? As in, flat edge upwards? I’m sure it’d be easy enough to unscrew it, flip it around and reattach though.
  6. Never seen a tort rear control plate! That’s given me a few ideas...
  7. I actually think this Cort is a little better looking than the Ibby SRH, plus has the magnetic pickup. It feels like it sits somewhere between the SRH and SRF in terms of features.
  8. Ohhh...that’s gorgeous. Wasn’t expecting that!
  9. Yeah he’s definitely saying “At the piano with a glass of Pinot...” as in Pinot Grigio. White wine. Very cool bassline!
  10. Very true. This is why I use EBS Flat Patch cables! The upside of the nano pedals is that if you have more than one and position them next to each other you can kind of “overlap” the input and output jacks to save even more space. Depends on one’s board setup though as you’ve got to have at least two of them to see the benefit.
  11. Whoever buys this is gonna be in for a treat!
  12. How cheap is cheap? I get 5 string sets of superbrights for about £22
  13. Agreed 100%. I’ve had Superbrights on two very different basses and have to say they feel lovely.
  14. Alan’s basses are no joke! Honestly some of the nicest instruments I’ve laid hands on.
  15. Buy a Mooer Slow Engine. Cheaper, smaller, does the same thing. There’s one for sale here right now I believe.
  16. I hate to say it but I had similar feelings the last time I tried a Maruszczyk. Think it may have been the LBGS too. And to echo the above quote, the basses I tried at the ACG booth were simply exquisite by comparison. A large part of it may well have been down to set up but, on any custom bass, surely it shouldn’t be seeing public exposire before being set up properly?
  17. That explains the shambles! Thanks for the info.
  18. 2 FR800s and a Helix Rack. Good god.
  19. Well the app seems to have circumvented the paid aspect of the service. I’ve had it for ages and not paid a penny! All my images are still working fine as far as I know!
