I reckon a Protection Racket Acoustic Bass gig case will fit. I have one for my very large Tanglewood Acoustic and it fits like a glove. It's not quite a hard case but MUCH more protective than a soft gig bag. I've had it in touring vans with no issues. Also...there's one for sale on this very forum!
Gotcha - so, the "siblings" are the other 10" multis and the Two10 really is designed to be used in the vertical rather than horizontal position.
As I understand it, the reason Barefaced developed the filtering of their 10" drivers was to solve the problem of multiple 10's having poor dispersion - i.e. 4x10s, 6x10s and 8x10s, cabs where there are 2 "columns" of drivers in the same enclosure. The driver filtering in the BF Two10 ensures your sound disperses well whether the cab is vertical or horizontal. Alex explains it in this video - https://www.facebook.com/BarefacedAudio/videos/10155811226882704/ - it's a good watch from start to finish but he talks specifically about the 10" speaker cabs from about 19:30 onwards.

Looking for a new iPad clamp/bracket/stand. Options?
CameronJ replied to Dood's topic in Accessories and Misc
Hercules make a couple of good ones. I'm not sure if they'll take a 10.5" iPad but might be worth checking out. I have a Hercules mic stand phone holder and it works great. Sturdily built too. -
How did it crap out? I haven't heard of a Polytune failing before so it must be a very rare occurrence.
From the videos you post I suspect that you like it funky. I've heard a few BCers using the Tecamp Puma head with very complimentary tone...and there are a few available here at the moment. I've tried to find a YT video with a "typical" Tecamp sound (there's no such thing obviously) without success. Hopefully somebody nearby can help. Defintely something that should be on your list of possibilities though.
I was gonna make the same suggestion. I've got a Puma 900 and it's glorious. Truly small and weighs barely anything. Love the EQ on it as well.

I didn't realise haggling was an option!
Seller's remorse... I know it well!
Luckily I don't think I've ever ad seller's remorse. It's only a matter of time though really...sooner or later I'll make a mistake -
Hmmm...I may need to try that!

Mounting underneath is the only way you'll be fitting your incoming Chorusaurus on the board...
My Maruszczyk Elwood 4p in Black burst. It's a 30" scale and weighs in at a delightfully pleasing 3.47Kg Although it's not really a 4p anymore because I added an East J-Tone pre-amp. It sounded awesome before the change, now it's awesomer. I hope this post works as I need to find a way to host then post my music photographs all over again. Fingers crossed...
Oh yeah that's seriously nice.

Looking good. Now get that power supply underneath the board!

I doubt I'll be seeing that price for a full fat Helix any time soon, but I regularly see them on eBay/Facebook at around £900 used, which I'd be willing to pay. It's a good saving on a new one. I'd want to know that the warranty is transferable though.

My membership expired a good many months ago but I still get pretty much daily emails from SBL. I don't mind it as I intend to renew at some point. Not on the Facebook mailing list though, that would annoy me a bit. I can't really begrudge the americanisms though, especially considering the majority of SBL subscribers are in the States!

Presumably the new switchable version of these cabs will remain at the same price as the "old" ones?
Battery = drum kit in English
That explains Native Instruments Battery! I thought it was just a banterous name but turns out it's actually a legit translation!

Glou-Glou make killer units for sure. Nearly €600 price tag though. I'd be more likely to spend that dough on a Meris Ottobit jr and a Plus Pedal! If you want weird and wonderful filter sounds with plenty of tweakability I'm going to have to be a broken record and suggest getting a Manta. Edit: just googled the specs and seen that it's an 8-inch x 8-inch enclosure! Good god that's massive. And it's 3 inches tall! Edited edit: it does sound phenomenal though and there's some tasty playing in that first video too.
This is far too harsh. It is entirely possible that the profit margin is tiny. Expensive does not equal robbery. The bag and the cabs are very expensive to the point where I do not see sufficient value for money to consider buying them. But until you can say what the product and shipping overheads are you cannot call it robbery or price gouging. A bag for an amp is a low selling item. Heavy bass cabs are, in the lightweight world, a low selling item. Production expenses must be recouped. That is not robbery. That does not mean the value for money is good, or even that the product itself is a good concept to bring to market. But unless the total cost of producing a single unit is known you can't call it robbery / gouging etc.
If it isn't intentional robbery then at the very least it shows a severe lack of market awareness. In fairness, a few brands are guilty of this to some degree. Here are the prices for various brands of amp bag on Bass Direct's website... Aguilar TH500 bag - £45 (+£5 shipping) Bergantino B.Amp bag - £59 (when bundled with amp) Eich T Series bag - £45 (when bundled with amp) Glockenklang bag - £40 (when bundled with amp) Genzler bag - £45 (+£5 shipping) Markbass LM3 bag - £55 (when bundled with amp) or £59 (+£4 shipping) standalone. Venderkley Spartan bag - £50 (when bundled with amp) Meanwhile... Darkglass M900 bag - £40 (when bundled with amp. Seems reasonable.) or £80 (+£5 shipping) standalone! It seems Bass Direct have put together these package deals to bring down some of the high retail prices of certain manufacturers. It's the only way they'll shift the bags in any real volume. BD don't seem to list the standalone prices for Berg, Eich, Glockenklang and Vanderkley's amp bags but I assume they'd be in the region of £5-£10 more expensive to purchase standalone. The Bergantino and MarkBass bags are particularly expensive but Bass Direct have literally had to HALVE the price of the Darkglass bag in their bundle offer in order to make it competitive with the majority of other brands. On every amp's product page, BD also lists the equivalent Gator bag which is always considerably lower in price and made very well. I own one myself. In many cases the Gator bag will be better constructed than the amp brand's own effort. Gator literally make cases for a living though, so i suppose it should be.

Well if by "presence" you mean higher frequencies then the BB2 has a high frequency driver that the SC doesn't, so it's capable of much more treble output. There's a knob on the back of th BB2 to adjust the crossover point for the high end driver so you can get the BB2 to sound similar to an SC. So you can have the best of both worlds there. You won't be able to get an SC to sound like a BB2 though, which might be something to consider. Alex is indeed the man to ask though. He's very helpful.
