Yeah it's looking like you're gonna need a NDD (New Desk Day) pretty soon. You're amassing some very cool gear sir.

As above - swift payment and good communication. Had a trouble-free time dealing with Chris!

With a cream pickguard though, so it looks like a big Solero ice lolly
USB output to charge an ipad or phone would actually not be a bad shout... the amount of gigs I have been on where people have forgotten chargers but have a charging cable in the car... (car won't charge an iPad though)
Ha. I have no option but to +1 this. -
I guess it would be possible to fashion a Bighead pouch that would attach to a guitar strap - similar to the kind of pouches you see for wireless systems but with holes at both ends to allow the cables to pass through?
Neither, but orange if I had to.
Would be better if it were a nice sparkley metallic orange. There's a Mike Lull Jazz for sale here at the moment in the colour I'm thinking of. Here: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/311045-mike-lull-m5v-dark-orange-metallic-in-mint-condition/page__pid__3362837#entry3362837
Trouble is, with the Amplug and Amphones you can basically plug your headphones into your bass - no patch cables, no unit dangling about... if they made a bighead with built in effects and drum machine that plugged right into the bass that would be great but as it is, I think it's something and nothing.
I agree, the ability to plug straight in is excellent. I do wish someone else would make something with the form factor of the Amplug but more durable. PJB would nail it. I'm sure it's something that Chris at Smooth Hound could probably whip up quite easily too.

Yup. I owned one when they first came out and before long it ended up in a drawer, never to be used again. Then I got myself a Phil Jones Bighead and never looked back! Edit: Danny beat me to it.
I haven't had any noise issues with mine when running several pedals on gigs - is that your concern?
To be honest it's not a concern in the true sense of the word as I wasn't seriously considering buying one any time soon - far too many other things on the shopping list. I just would have hoped that for the money these cost you would at least have gotten some isolation...then it could feasibly serve double duty as a high end power supply as well as a boutique preamp/DI. As it stands I'd want to power my board by other means. Anyway, I'm not here to slate the Noble. I'd still like to try one some day!

This is very cool. Would love to do something like this myself but I fear I don't have nearly enough skill to produce a bass as nice as this

New pedals added! Same old story, all in very good condition. Prices include UK postage. PayPal gift preferred but will also accept bank transfer. Wounded Paw Battering Ram V2.6 - £125 posted. Made in Canada. I literally just acquired this on a whim but have no real need (or space) for it on the board as I seem to have found my dirt sound with my Pork Loin and the fuzz side of my Okto Nøjs. As a result, the Battering Ram is on the chopping block. Now I have to say, the low end retention on the distortion side of this pedal is pretty huge when the Low switch is engaged. In fact it seems to add lows. Very meaty. The Fuzz side is much more fizzy and high end oriented, which, when blended with the distortion via the parallel split switch produces quite a full range sound. I find it's best to first dial the distortion up to the desired level and then slowly turn the fuzz up to taste for the amount of bite you're looking for. The octave footswitch adds in more higher harmonics on the fuzz side of the circuit. To be honest I haven't really scratched the surface of this pedal but it seems like it's better suited to more "traditional" bass playing rather than the synthy vibe I'm going for. Boxed with manual. No Velcro on the bottom. ——————— Bright Onion Trails Looper - £35 posted. Nifty little box that lets you hear the repeats and trails from your delay/reverb pedals after disengaging the effect. A must have for anyone who plays ambient stuff. In fact, since Basschat's very own Ambient is selling his Trails Looper too (and he put his up for sale first) please get in touch with him before PMing me! Velcro on bottom. ——————— PRICE DROPS ALL ROUND!

Very cool. Nice work! -
This seems to have exploded in popularity over in a few Facebook groups I'm a member of. I really need to see a proper demo/review of it on bass before making up my mind, as the only clips I've heard of it are on guitar and sound a bit mental to be honest!
The Puma 900 I run has probably the world's most useless bass boost knob - centred around 30 Hz. However, a smidge of cut makes the sound in many small rooms much better - a sort of ersatz HPF. Boosting there is not that useful IMO though EDIT: In fact, the more I think about it, it's probably quite a dangerous knob. A noob player looking to get more bass out of a cabinet not designed for it could easily put quite a lot of power through the woofer, if the maxed out that particular knob. Alex will know more about the power tolerances and voltages etc, but I imagine enough low end boost at high power could damage a woofer.
I know what you mean about the Puma 900s bass knob - I've just acquired one myself. It does work well as a "boom cut" though. Can sound great dialled up just a little for some reggae/soul/HipHop flavours too. -
