1. What's your budget? It's certainly possible to find a PJ with a jazz neck. I was about to suggest a fender blacktop jazz but that's double P config. There's also a very lovely looking Aerodyne Precision for sale here at the moment but the body looks decidedly un-contoured to me so that might be a deal breaker. Are you 100% set on Fender/Squier? Because some excellent alternatives can be found for equivalent or less money if you don't mind searching outside of the Fender pool.
2. Interesting to see that the super twin is almost as compact as the super compact!
3. Looks like a decent bargain to me if you're willing to collect from London. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263046502632
4. It could well be the same one. When watching on Netflix it seemed to end prematurely - credits rolling etc - then after a few seconds with a blank screen "part 2" began. It was all formatted as one long stream though.
5. Such a gorgeous bass. GLWTS.
6. I think I've been misread here somewhat. I'm nothing but amused at the auction - no animosity at all here. I genuinely found it funny and the thread title is firmly tongue in cheek!
7. You don't see these around that often. Very cool bass!
8. I do have a soft spot for a natural jazz. Lovely.
9. There's one for sale in the classifieds! http://basschat.co.uk/topic/307320-moog-lp-stage-ii-synth/page__pid__3318604#entry3318604
10. I feel the only thing that could improve this picture is a tort guard and a maple neck.

In that case your cheapest, most reliable solution is the Diago Isolator suggested above. Though the GigRig Isolator has 4 outputs (albeit limited to around 150mA each) and could act as insurance against any misbehaving pedals you may acquire in the future. Of course there's no point going to the added expense of the GigRig option if you don't have any plans for board expansion.
12.
I don't do multi band gigs, but on a festival, I meet the sound guy and introduce myself, get his name, shake his hand and have a chat about the sound. I have great DI's in all my amps. I give the FOH post EQ. I have never had an issue, problem or confrontation with a festival sound crew. I always thank the guys after the gig.
I couldn't agree more with this approach. Establish a bit of a rapport with the guy and he'll be more likely to go the extra mile. Communicate! I've done sound checks as a singer with guys who curse under their breath at the fact there's too much/not enough of themselves in a monitor mix (for example) and I've found myself having to calmly explain to them that the sound guy isn't psychic and can't be in two places at once. Then proceeded to politely ask for the adjustment in monitor levels. If you don't ask you don't get most of the time. A thank you costs nothing. Unless of course the sound guy was genuinely terrible and a d*ck
13. Big GuitarGuitar sale on the older models. Treat yourselves folks! https://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/clearance/tag/yamaha-bb-sale/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=nlf&utm_campaign=200617
14. I fully agree - Aguilar prices are ludicrous across the board. I'm sure if they started producing strings they'd end up being ~£80 for a 4 string set by the time they reached our shores. Madness.

Noisy signal
Another option of course would be to ditch the tuner and replace it with a TC Polytune Mini - I've not had any noise issues with mine on a daisy chain!
+1. In fact, I don't think I've ever had a noise problem with any of my TC pedals (I've had a few) despite them being digital. They're obviously doing something right.
16. I Can't Tell You Why is one of my favourite Eagles tracks of all time. Very smooth. Have you seen the Eagles documentary on Netflix? It's about 3 hours 7 minutes long and worth every second. It must be available on DVD too I'm sure. So good.
17. Bloody hell. Does it go down to 2 ohms?!

19. BRX is right. Bluetooth literally isn't fit for this purpose as it was never designed for it. The quality of sound available through Bluetooth devices is actually quite decent but the latency is less than ideal (as you've noticed) range is fairly short and the strength of the connection can be compromised easily. As I understand it the Smooth Hound and similar digital systems run on technology akin to WiFi which allows for much better connection stability and transfer speed. Many wireless mics and IEMs work in the same way. I have very little knowledge of analogue wireless systems, other than hearing comedic tales of bands picking up conversations from the local taxi office through their PA
20. Thanks for the insight guys. Sounds like I should take a punt on the Chowny. Re: the Aguilar not sounding good with too much low end - I was planning on mainly sending octave and octave filtered sounds through it so that could be a disaster...anyone else had a poor experience with the Aggy?
21. I didn't even notice the inlays until you pointed them out. I like em too.
22. Just had a listen. Sounds very much like DOD Meatbox territory to me. And the good news is there's one for sale here at the moment I'm not the seller BTW...
23. Glad to hear all's going well. When I first put my receiver on my board I got a similar pop on turning it on/off but I've since shuffled my signal chain a bit and altered the order in which my pedals get power from my rechargeable packs. I found it odd as my Smooth Hound was isolated from everything else on the board but hey, the reshuffle did the trick. My Smooth Hound is now practically silent on startup and shutdown. Might be worth investigating.
24. Two pedals with very similar names but very different prices - I can get a new Chowny for half the price of the Aguilar used. I like the sound of them both in demos but a YouTube demo can cover a multitude of sins. Slightly different controls on both - the Aguilar has a single "blend" knob vs the Chownys separate level controls for the fuzz and dry signals. Anyone out there have experience of both pedals?
