It’s possible Amazon may have just sent you a generic strap which isn’t designed for the Pedaltrain and wont attach in the same way... Although I recently bought my Nano (original version) used from a seller abroad as it isn’t available to buy new anymore - are you sure you didn’t buy a Nano+? The Nano+ is a few inches longer than the original Nano and has a different case with metal rings to clip on a strap with carabiners.

That’s what mine looks like too.

As long as the string reaches the nut before the silks start, you should be fine. I don’t consider string taper to be an issue personally. In my experience, the following strings are all fine for 35” scale basses: D’addario EXLs Dunlop Flats Maruszczyk Nickels Ernie Ball Cobalt Flats Dingwall Medium Scale strings (medium scale for Dingwall is long scale for everyone else) Thomastik Infeld Flats

Lining up silks - It's definitely possible, any tips?
CameronJ replied to AinsleyWalker's topic in Accessories and Misc
Start playing multi scale basses. Then you will cease to care whether the silks line up or not.- 45 replies

I agree! It sounds like one bass was used for that entire track.

+1 to all of this. Spot on.

Ask and you shall receive: It’s the one on the left, obviously.

I own two Dingwall Super Ps with Maple necks and one Dingwall Super P with an all wenge neck/board - in all honesty I’d advise not to think about any arguable differences in tone and instead concentrate on the look & feel of the wenge as the primary factors. Wenge feels lovely in the hand, with a more “natural” feel due to having a coarser, more open grain than maple. Basically, while maple necks feel totally smooth, wenge has a much more apparent grain to the touch, which is nice. If you were to string all of my Super Ps with the same strings, then blindfold me and have someone play them each one by one, I’m certain I would fail to correctly guess which was which.

Recording with wireless latency issues
CameronJ replied to PaulWarning's topic in General Discussion
This is odd. I play using my Boss WL20 (the “L” version) all the time and have never detected any latency. Do you only notice the issue when playing back a recorded track? You don’t notice it when actually recording the line?
