Schecter have just released a new “Exotic” version of the Model T which looks phenomenal. Not in stock anywhere just yet but it’s a very pretty thing…
-
Black pearl for me. Love it! Plain black looks great too.

I often forget about the Wanted section - I really must use it more often.

We’ve all been there - It’s certainly happened to me a few times. Now I check the sale forums daily, usually at least a couple of times a day!

Boss Waza Air now available for bass. Personal Amp System.
CameronJ replied to dave_bass5's topic in Amps and Cabs
Can’t help but think Boss have all the components to make a product which would blow something like the Phil Jones BigHead out of the water now. Basically the WAZA Air as a little unit that you could plug your own headphones into. Still with the wireless transmitter but maybe with a standard 1/4” jack socket to plug directly into as a backup. And of course all of the effects, modelling and Bluetooth connectivity, plus an internal rechargeable battery (USB-C of course) in a nice robust yet compact metal form factor. For those who don’t need yet another set of headphones but want everything else the WAZA Air has to offer. -

To be fair it would probably look weirder if they’d tried to keep the metal control plate and extended it to accommodate 5 (or 6 including output jack) holes. But I do think the scratchplate is a slightly odd shape on the NJS basses. They sound good though!

I think thats genuinely a great idea! -

Ohhh, I’ve just realised it’s because you have a “top” wood on the back of the body! That’s why there’s an additional accent carve. Makes sense. It wouldn’t have as much visual impact on a body that didn’t have the sandwich of woods on the back! Either way, congratulations sir. It’s a stunning thing!

It’s the first one I’ve seen with that rear carve x they usually look like this on the back:
-
That looks utterly phenomenal. I’m currently finalising a Krell build with Alan myself! That extended rear carve is very cool! I’m guessing you specced that as an add-on? Tempted to ask if I can have that done to my Krell too… Also loving the dots being ON the lines. A small detail but very well implemented.

Surprised i've only just come across this thread - my contribution is a little bit left-field: I now only own the Candy Red PJ on the left but...Dingwall really know what they're doing when it comes to updating a classic design. Planning on owning one of their Super Js and D-Birds (called D-Roc now) one day, but I guess that's for another thread

I’m currently in LA and can confirm this is the case, even in my fairly modern apartment!

Sting absolutely has to be at the top of the list for me.

And may their goats be afflicted with a kind of mange.

identical to mine! Except I don’t have the HRI (hum reduction inductor) installed. I’ve bought one from Bass Direct though and it’s sitting in a drawer ready to get installed when I get back home after this tour. Installation will most likely be done by @thebassgallery!
