  1. The BH800 is such a great head. I suspect you’re gonna love it!
  2. This. If they didn’t like you they wouldn’t invite you back just to be nice! Clearly you did something right.
  3. The only thing putting me off a D-bird was the fact it didn’t come in a 5 string... This is terrible news.
  4. Hercules make a phone holder which attaches to a mic stand. I’ve used it quite a bit over the past couple of years and it’s very good.
  5. Can’t help you there I’m afraid
  6. Haven’t tried cobalts but I have Dunlop Flats on one of my basses. I like them - the tension isn’t much higher than the Rotosound rounds that came with the bass when I bought it (used) and they can be very bright if you want them to be.
  7. The J-loaded-P doesn’t look completely awful but they could do with other colour options. The Bona sig on the other hand is just grim.
  8. How long have you owned the bass for? I’ve only had mine a couple of months and not played it constantly but no battery issues for me...
  9. The PJB Bighead is probably the best you can get for what you describe. Not exactly “cheap” but worth every penny.
  10. Played one of these in GuitarGuitar Glasgow (pre-reduction) and it was a joy. Sounded great with a lovely neck. I was rather tempted myself at that price!
  11. Not sure what format those photos are in but they don’t seem to be cooperating with my phone or my iPad!
  12. How on earth is this still here?! I suspect it’s just a case of not enough people knowing about them
  13. Just barrel size. Line 6 deliberately made the barrel an awkward size to act as a disincentive to people running the Stomp (and HX Effects) off of non-official power supplies. Annoying for those of us wanting to run Stomos on pedalboards but I do get why Line 6 did it.
  14. Sweet Jesus that’s beautiful!
  15. Some serious collections there gentlemen!
  16. *Ahem* Where were we? Ah yes... Good to know. The vast majority of my “aural hours” are spent just listening to recorded music so if they aren’t great for that they’re a no-go. I definitely want a set which excels at critical, casual and live instrument monitoring applications so perhaps the ZS10s are out for me, despite the low cost risk to try them out. Need to give Custom IEMs a call tomorrow methinks.
  17. Wow. That is like an optical illusion! Beautiful.
  18. Am I right in saying these ZS10s are a pretty significant upgrade from the Shure 215s? I had a pair of the Shures years ago but they crapped out on me.
  19. This is the truth. @petetexas, I’ve bought many TC electronics pedals and none of them have come with a power supply. The assumption is that we already have a means of powering pedals. In fact, on the whole, most pedals from most manufacturers come without a PSU.
  20. Re: who does the impressions, this is sadly what I suspected to be the case. Custom IEM seem to have two London branches though which is great. I may try and arrange a demo session (perhaps getting impressions done while I’m there) as I’m back home for a couple of days this week. Happy days! As for driver count affecting the physical size of the IEM, this is good news. To be fair, I have fairly large ears so I doubt it would be as much of a problem for me as it may be for others anyway. Though I’m guessing that my ear being large in a general sense doesn’t necessarily mean my concha will be large! 18 drivers?! Dare I ask the use case for such a powerhouse of an IEM?
