  1. Shipping included....

  3. Yeah I'd never seen one either. It's a great thing though and the slant makes it easier to hear yourself. The sound is awesome, especially with the Traynor (also listed). https://ampeg.com/pdf/BSE410H_HS_HLF.pdf 8 Ohms, 400W, solid as a rock. Castors included and a dust cover. Open to barefaced trades.
  4. Ok I will regret this for sure, but I don't need 3 amps..... If you're looking for a brilliant-sounding valve amp that doesn't weigh a ton or cost a million, look no further. I am open to barefaced trades. Please see my other ad for BF four10. Location Winchester. Comes with dust cover. Ampeg cab about to get listed...
  5. ABM not for sale, OB1 may be
  6. Ok so this is a feeler more than anything. My beloved four10 is one of the loudest & lightest cabs out there. But Doctor say I have a herniated disc and I need to stop lifting big awkward stuff. I still need a proper gigging rig, so my solution might be a pair of two10s or BB2, Super Compact, etc. All suggestions welcome trade-wise. It's 8 Ohm and comes with roqsolid cover. Come try it out in Winchester.
  7. Sold something! And immediately bought another shiny thing 😔

  8. That’s too bad. I think the chap I got mine from bought it new shipped from factory. I’m guessing but they might be in budget. Or you could twist my arm and I might part with mine! Going back to to your original post and reading all the replies, I would consider trying your head with a modern cab. You might be surprised how efficient they are.
  9. Pretty sure @jay bass was after one of these
  10. For great value all-valve take a look at Traynor. I’m really pleased with the YBA-200. It goes damn loud but has great depth and growl. I have a similar cab configuration as yours, and also a modern 4x10 (barefaced). For volume the barefaced is the absolute best. Vintage cabs can’t do the same. Come over and try my rig.
  11. Mint Fender US Jazz near me on gumtree (not mine) : https://www.gumtree.com/p/guitar-instrument/fender-bass-guitar-left-handed/1414446001
  12. price drop bump no reasonable offer refused!
  13. Traynor https://traynoramps.com/product/yba-200-2/
  14. Should've said... open to offers and trades. Don't be shy lefties!
  15. So after much deliberation I've decided to list all my excess gear. I need the cash and the space, so I'm only hanging onto my gigging rigs. Grab a bargain lefty...
  16. Listing my gear, look out for a bargain or two

  17. +1 for Traynor.
  18. Bump for "yeah I still have it and a bunch of other gear I don't need!"
  19. Really good instrument in excellent condition.... just not for me. The neck is fast and the action perfectly low. Great sounds too. It's had virtually no play from new, and no mods. Flexible on collection / meet halfway but I don't want to ship it. Cheers Jim
  20. Traynor YBA-200. Affordable, moveable & sounds awesome.
  21. Totally agree @uk_lefty Ironic that good quality instruments are hard to find and yet we can’t shift them either. Years ago I went to Denmark street to try out a couple of basses I’d always fancied (Rickenbacker, Warwick) and came away unimpressed, but it was fun to try them. I’d certainly like a go on your Aria if only to satisfy my Cliff Burton / John Taylor fantasy. However I can’t justify another 4-string when I’m only playing 5s in my current band. Anyone know where I can find a lefty Jackson Concert 5?
  22. Fortunately I work harder at playing bass than photography
  23. Hi fellow lefties. I can’t help feeling there are very few lh basses to choose from. Our own for sale forum is like a desert. Perhaps we need a swap shop? I for one have more 4s and 5s than I can play. I’ll just post my collection here and if you want to borrow or buy one then comment here or pm me.
  24. I bought one of these and am thrilled with it. I had an Ampeg SVT II years ago and was less than thrilled.
  25. I bought the exact same lefty brand new, just four-string rather than 5, in about 2004. Hard to remember exactly how much I paid, but I’d guess £300. Although it was a nice instrument to own, and my main bass for years, I was never happy with the sound. I bypassed the active circuit, but in hindsight the pickups were probably to blame. I wish I still had that bass. Congrats to you.
