There’s always the ‘mates rates’ discussion where someone you vaguely know asks how much to book you for their wedding or whatever, then say ok and what would that be at ‘mates rates’. Only to look dismayed when you tell them that real mates support each other by paying what their hard work is worth!

If only these were the 8ohm version i’d have taken both off your hands. Having tried many manufacturers The GR bass cabs have been a lifesaver for me due to how lightweight the cabs are without sacrificing sound. I am currently running the AT112H and keen to add some more options/combiations. GLWTS.

@PurpleOtternice peterson setup you have there, don’t see many of these exceptional amps.

not sure why markbass are so closed off from their customers. I am fortunate enough to be able to manufacture so perhaps I should get a 2u blank plate and build one from there… if I manage to get something that works I’ll post the details in this thread for any other users.

Hi all - so my son and his friend have decided they don’t want to come with me to see the black sabbath: back to the beginning which leaves me with two spare hospitality tickets. i have no interest in making extra money off these, just looking to cover the face value & you will unfortunately be seated with me for the show as I’m still going with my other son. I am conscious that money is tight for everyone and so am happy to consider Basses / bass gear in part exchange or direct swap for these tickets if that helps? Here is what’s included in the Gold Package (also still showing on the villa site if you’d like to double check): Pre-show access to an exclusive hospitality Lounge Reserved padded seat Food served throughout the day from gates opening Brunch, Afternoon Tea/snacks, Evening Street Food 2 inclusive Beers, wines or soft drinks Tea & Coffee available throughout the day Seated ticket within the Doug Ellis Stand or Trinity Road stand Post-event lounge access for 30 minutes post-last act. Price: £595 per person (Excluding VAT) i will print off proof of purchase and add my details on to confirm this is a genuine offer when back at work on Monday but wanted to see if anyone would be interested…… I did message @Kiwi before posting to ensure I’m not breaking any rules & several basschatters have had dealings with me before so can confirm my genuineness.

@jazzyvee the 40th anniversary video for prs guitars on YouTube is worth a watch - Gary grainger plays for the first half the concert before Mark Lettieri’s band take the stage (Wes Stephenson).

@The Burpster She has getting played a lot despite the company she’s in, so pleased I bought this from you.

Thought I’d start a thread for my favourite manufacturer; I am sure there are a few more PRS players lurking in the wings to share some pics, here’s my four to start the ball rolling (‘89 Bass 4, ‘93 EB4, 2013 GG4, 2015 GG5).

Not sure if any fellow members were part of this amazing event, but it was a truly moving experience to be part of. 1000musicians pulling together for a cause that is close to home having lost a songwriter, drummer and genuine friend earlier this year.

Yes was amazing night I’ll share the YouTube link in a few days…

@msb @Jackopie1 it is great to have a playroom as a grown up & also easier to smuggle new purchases in as seperate from the house 😉 🤫

Having been stuck at home for many years due to spinal injury and operations I am pleased to be playing bass again. Am venturing out of home for the first time for 1000lights charity event with 999 other musicians at Birmingham arena this Sunday. am looking forward to playing live again and hoping this is the start of good things….. photo is the space at home I have spent too long in (and too much money on) Hope to be more active on this great forum from now on also!
