I like the looks of the old Brown Boss Bass line Free The Tone make incredible gear but no I would not have a manufacturer exclusive board

Stuggle? I've got 18 year old Chromes on my 76 P and they are great got Chromes on a Warwick 5 these are only 18 months used, all good Chromes are by their nature what I consider a stiff or tight string , they certainly couldn't be marketed as Low Tension

I am unconvinced I hear a difference between MIJ OC-2 and the OC-5 I can say the OC-5 can get a few notes lower before becoming unusable Will keep both , one on each board , if I had to have 1 only ,then the OC-5 probably Another observation is prices of MIJ OC-2 seem to have skyrocketed (?)

I read up on power supplies and went with Vitoos DD-12 , very good Boss OC-5 I still haven’t given it a full run through but I think a good option from Boss considering the scarcity and price of OC-2 by the look of it FKT AUDIO - “ The Fretless” think it’s a dumb name but this is an excellent pedal. I’m looking at other pedals in their range given how good this one is

this week on NZ Trade Me Pedulla MVP Tobias Classic V Alembic Mark King 1966, and 2x1972 Fender Jazz Stingray , Rickenbacker, Warwick options

on the NZ Auction site this week there is a Gibson era "Classic" which is the neck through model it's a 5'er and I'm thinking about it , if I could try before buy would be helpful
