1 - Fender Basses 2 - Rickenbacker Basses 3 - Gibson Basses They all suck arse for playability IMO of course! -
I think it depends if they are just releasing a stereo tracking version of the original or completely remastering..... if you listen to a lot of re-masterd to digital stuff it's pretty good. Digital versus Analogue..... that argument will go on forever.... Analogue sounds more Organic but Digital is far superior IMO of course. Digital is going to be the future if you like it or not.....

I'm actually doing a days worth of bass tuition for a chap in Great Totham - might have to nip and see Mr Green before I start work!
Are you likely to leave Colchester with one more bass than when you arrived?
I was f***ing shocked £750 I sold the ray for, got stung £25 ish by paypal then today I find £30 ebay final value fee what a bunch of c**ts. Now I don't like using that word but thats what they are, I will not be selling anything but tat on there from now on.
That's still less than what you'd pay if you put it up for sale in a shop.... average is 10-15%. But I do agree the fee's are shocking but I think it's a good thing as it will help reduce the amount of online traders diminishing the value of music/Pro Audio products that the manufacturers work so hard to put in to this country! Rant over
On the subject of Earth Terminal, a mate of mine recorded there recently and spoke highly of the place. They did a staggering 13 tracks over two days! From a more personal perspective, we rehearse (and record) at Sounds Good in Lambourn Woodlands - it's a couple of miles off the Hungerford/Wantage turnoff of the M4 - I'm in Crowthorne - so a little west of Reading and it's just under 40 miles from me. They have four rooms; three live rooms and a control room. All digital. Engineer Andy Rowland is a top bloke and knows his gear inside out (which always helps ) Link:Sounds Good Highly recommended! Ok so have some photo's to share of the gig withmy function band (5CATFish) at The Monastery in Gorton, Manchester. What a great venue despite the natural reverb that lasted for about a day and a half!! If you look closely in the 2nd picture down, you can just make out the 17ft Crucifix hanging above our heads as we played, very unnerving!!
Powersoft amps seem quite difficult to get hold of over here. Sennheiser UK supposedly distribute them, but they are useless!
Ooohh.... I'm not going to take offense to this!!!! Honest! I think you will be hard pushed to find Powersoft amplification in any MI retail store as it's not an MI product guys. You could contact the following who will be able to advise you of purchase - Leisuretec - 01525 850085 AC Lighting - 0113 255 7666 RW Salts - 0844 980 8800 Mercury AV - 0845 9000 805 Or if you get stuck give me a shout.
