2. Ok so got two great and different gigs this weekend.... Gig 1 is playing in my originals band on the Beach in Clacton for the air show.... should be fun. Gig 2 is with my function band playing in a Monastery (The Monastery)..... Acoustics from hell for a band.... I'll get some pics up early next week
3. And buy a transit to lug them about in...
4. In the Strongroom Studios.... In the Forest... Performing with the fantastic Craig Blundell (drums)
5.
My first gig with my new band is tonight. All covers - my first all covers band that's made it as far as gigging. The nerves are made worse by the fact that a lot of the punters will be people I know. I've always found it more nerve-racking to play in front of people I know than to play to total strangers. How do you handle gig nerves or do you eventually get over them the more you play?
yeah..... eventually you'll just get on with it and not think about it too much
6. I think it depends on the band and what your trying to accomplish live.... In my originals act I try to be very precise but with a degree of movement on stage i.e. rockin out with the guys... but with the function band definitely total show boating and the like which does sometimes leave room for error..... but the punters love it!!!!
7. Hey Rich I bought your Superfly amp off you a while back..... any chance you can send me some more pics ([email protected]).... I may be interested in this.... Is this a 34" scale? also whats the string spacing? cheers mate Jay

16.
Slight off-topic, but staying with the classics, we were rehearsing Wonderful World by Sam Cooke the other night. Having two kids still at school, I started one verse with Don't know much about I.C.T., don't know much sociology ... It all broke down when I realised that I couldn't get Media Studies even to scan, let alone rhyme.
Your just not trying hard enough are you...
17. Looks like it's been amended to start from £800
18.
I've played at hundreds and hundreds of trad weddings - nothing but nothing goes down better than a bit of Mustang Sally and the like. If you want to go down like whale sh*t, by all means play a bit of prog rock or punk or jazz.
+1
19. I think it's a shame..... imagine how many they would sell if they retailed this at £300.
