Good advice Dood..... I find the Behringer equipment a bit too noisy.... much as Alesis rack FX..... Can't go wrong with TCE also check out Lexicon for some lush fx..

Just an update on the 2012 situation..... just so you know, the frequencies are not going to be 'switched off' as it were over night.... the deal is that they will be sold off in 2012 but probably will not be going into action until a year or so later... and this is also area dependant

you could be overloading the input stage of the wireless system with 18V pre from the bass.... I've come across this problem a lot.

Are they any good? YES!![/quote] Having just taken delivery of two myself...... They are good value for money..... They are ok basses, was a bit disappointed with the 5 string jazz fretted..... Sharp frets, cheapo pickups but overall you can't knock them for the money. The frettless i took is excellent!!

re-posted from incorrect thread Hi Guys I know there are a few threads jumping around about SX basses but I wanna know from you guys that have customized your SX instruments which products you have used.... I have just taken delivery of a 5 string JAZZ Frettted and also a fretless. Now I'm quite impressed by the actual quality considering the value of these items however I feel there are things that let them down. The Bridge.... chunky enough but its a bit er... open... I prefer the more chunky bridges so any suggestions from those who have changed this bit of hardware The same goes for the Tuners.... they are ok but could be better Any advice on the pick-ups also many thanks for your advice Jay
