1. yep you can indeed..... just use the send on a 'Y' inset cable
 2. Have a look at the Beyer DT 770+ Large Diaphragms and sound lush!
 3. Terry Lewis from Jam and Lewis.... he was a monster!
 4.
Investment for the future, or are you expecting a double failure? Sometimes I think I miss not having one anymore, then I remember I spent most of my time getting annoyed by it.
Bit of both really.... although both of mine have been really rock solid. Plus with the set list we now have.... there is a lot more synth bass being used, it's much easier just having two units set up and being able to switch between patches is quicker than trying to up/down switch through them on stage. I do really need a third unit
 5.
CRez didn't I see somewhere you already have 2? Is that something I have just made up? lol
Nope you are very correct....... I am looking for another though ;o)
 6.
Without wishing to hijack the thread, I'd have to say that the Blackpool Tower Ballroom gets my vote for the worst load-in, certainly that I've experienced. Back on subject: Break-a-leg on Saturday Pete.
This...... Seconded
 7.
Slightly OT Last Christmas is one of the most God-awful examples of Linn drum programming ever on a record. Not sure how you can make LC sound good, but to sound authentic you should at least make sure you play with absolutely no feel. Hope that helps. Sorry, you can probably tell that I'm not a fan of Wham and that record in particular. EDIT: Just found it on Youtube. My guess is that it is in C but speeded up to somewhere slightly sharper than C#
This..... Those snare rolls make me squirm every time I hear it....
 8. Nope but it looks bloody awful!
 9.
love the way the bass player looks down and fumbles with the bass strings, pretending not to notice
You can tell he was muttering to himself... 'I knew this would happen'
 10.
I'm shocked only 160 people have voted out of nearly 19,000 members.
Time for a Cull!
 11.
Thundercat
?????
 12. I think the one that went on ebay set the reserve way too low..... £350..... I was bidding..... but took my eye off it.... was going to bid up to £450.
 13.
I'm intrigued ! Please tell me more. What mics do you normally use for mic'ing up bass amps ?
I'm with 5im0n on this one.... I enjoy using a Beyer M88 on the Kick....
 14. Blimey..... Still got this in the corner of the studio..... so bump!
 15. S'funny you posted this.... I just mailed about cash on collection for it
 16. I've been doing some work with a company oooop north who will have something along the lines of an adaptor but won't be here till new year..... I'll drop you a pm when they arrive and I've had a look.
 17. Belkin will have a docking station soon.... but I believe it will be expensive
 18.
If boiling doesn't produce the results you seek, you could always try frying them.
Saute is the way to go!
 19. If you're happy with the amp then go for a separate DI, that way you'll have the best of both
 20. Can't really comment with that particular cabinet..... When I was looking at these amps I compared both and the GK won for me.... It produced the full bodied, rounded low end that I was looking for. Using with 2 x DB112
This is a 100/100 Midi Wal....with a special option .... the same "pick ups" that Jonas Helborg got on his Wal see the picture
You can see him Grimacing from the weight of that beast!!
 22. Indeed... the man is stuff of legend.... I was listening back to some Morris Day tracks the other day..... forgot how good they were
 23. Think this was discussed before but with this type of material a bass with pick is generally favoured over finger style (not that I would).....
 24.
I want to see your band!
We might be doing some stuff in Wales next year ;o)
