1. I don't know why but I'm GASing for a simple precision Jake from them...
2. When I saw the thread title I thought this was going to be a joke regarding the American Standard line being discontinued, boy was I wrong!
3. Played an AS jazz in guitar centre earlier and I wasn't overly impressed at all, would happily settle for the MIM line and save $1000 or so.

9.
I'm interested,I'm from Holland. Is it a 220v amp? And are you willing to ship it to The Netherlands, of course at my cost? Can you find out what the shipping costs are?
PM replied
10. EBS and Tecamp/EICH amps are meant to be very transparent.
11. I'm not normally a fan of natural finished basses but this one for some reason lights my interest. Jeff himself said that to him it's the best bass since a 70s jazz and well I'm just wondering what others thought of it compared to a jazz? I've got a bitsa jazz with Delano pickups and a lakland neck and it plays like a dream, would the Cort offer anything different?
12. Due to our landlord selling our flat I too am looking to slim down my amp/cab collection which I've accumulated over the years. This sale is for an Ampeg B100R combo, here's a description from Ampeg.com; If you're looking for vintage Ampeg sex appeal with modern functionality, the B-100R should put a smile on your face. The B-100R "Rocket Bass" combo amp combines the look, sound and tone of the original Portaflex with the outstanding reliability of contemporary, solid-state design. The 100-Watt B-100R drives a vintage 15" speaker and features four bands of EQ, plus Ultra Low, Mid, and High switches for custom-tailoring your sound. Featuring the same warm tone and easy to use controls as its vintage counterpart, the B-100R is rugged, lightweight and maintenance-free. Vintage Tone and Styling 15" Speaker 100-Watts RMS Ultra-portable* RMS Power Output: 100-Watts Speakers: 1 x 15" Tone Controls: 4-Band Mid Tone Control: Ultra Mid Line Out: Unbalanced Line In: Yes Headphone Output: Yes Dimensions (W x H x D inches): 19 x 21 x 14 Weight: 65 Pounds Condition wise it's got a few marks on the tolex and one of the casters is loose, an easy fix no doubt. Other than that all the electronics work fine with no issues. 13.
So far (hypothetically of course) we are wanting to stay away from clones but I have to say that Truly Beautiful Disaster is right up my hypothetical effects builders street. We've been collab'ing on modding a discontinued pedal of his (that's how this all got started) but we are actually doing away with it's self-oscillating loop and concentraiting more on a doomy fuzz in this new one. ... however I really like the idea of a built in LFO.
You're making the right choice friend.
14. Ask for a Truly Beautiful disaster clone.
