  3. Back on the market after spectacular let down! Not one of you guys! BOSS ME 50b multi fx board.Superb compressor and tuner plus 3 programmable effects AND a treadle assignable for volume,resonance,WHAMMY type sounds to name a few plus it can be used for kick drum sound.You'd be surprised how useful this is!!Comes with Boss Power supply but no manual. £100 plus p+p but I am after a couple of stomps.Line6 verbzilla and Echo Park etc Also after Boss Micro BR or other mini recorder.

  7. I teach a girl that has a Westfield P.Great fat sound.High fret issue though but not incurable.

I have a 2007 MIA S1 Precision (4 string) and the low E sounds a little different to the others.It has those taperwound strings,with the exposed core bit running over the bridge.Only the E is like this,but on the 5 er its the B and the E.Why dont they make the full set the same,like Rotosounds PSD piano string design?

  16. Just wondering,how "do-able" is replacing the fretboard on a P bass? I really want a fretless P much like the Tony Franklin but on a budget. Iwas thinking of a MIM P and a slab of ebony.Anyone done this?
  17. I branched out from drums 10 years ago(praise the Lord!!!)Always had a teacher on drums and carried on the tradition. Just started some lessons with my mate Nick Carey (listed under tutors on this forum) I think you need at least a sounding board for ideas/technique,and a guru figure to set you straight on any bad habits that you may be developing.Fair do's,i probably could have picked up basic rock and blues by ear at a stretch,but what about complicated jazz figures etc? Do yourselves a favour and track down a local tutor.
