I use the sevices of Steve Preston at Wyre River Guitars in BLACKPOOL LANCS. 01253 353723 He does the lot,from set ups and restrings to a complete custom build from scratch,not Warmoth!

I believe the TRB 1005F is the newer,some say inferior,model made in Korea or China.TRB5IIf is the original Japanese one.Worth the extra in my opinion

We flew to Canada for gigs in '92 and were strongly advised to slacken all strings.Take your allen keys too for't truss rod.

I like the look of that,mate.My pocket would be seriously twitching if that was in my local store.I think with basses of a certain age,the price is more relative to how much You want it,rather than the overall value of the sum of parts etc.In short,thats a P bass the likes of which you don't see everyday.Quite unique.

I kind of like the parchment thing thats on it.A Classic look.

Are you talking about Tru Bass model?If so I tried 'em on a fretless and took 'em straight off! Massive thick gauge = extra high tension.Awful.Like liquorice!!. Have seen a bass in a shop once however that was fitted with some other brand of black nylon and they were a more standard gauge.Try stringbusters for their Galli strings.I think they do a black nylon.

I have a Behringer pedal tuner and thats a waste of good plastic in my opinion!!!!

Hello and welcome from Our Man in Blackpool

Its my 40th and I've just been to collect my MIA Precision from Rimmers in Blackpool.There's nothing like coming home and hearing a new bass through your own amp is there?This is easily the best sounding bass and I've had a few over t'years!!The feel and the style and all that bassy goodness have eased me into my 40's and to quote Goldmember "itsh a keeper!"
