  1. Hi Phil, it most certainly is. I was just playing it literally a minute ago. I’m based in Bristol (but just driving to Cheltenham for my first gig of a 3-gig weekend!)
  2. Feel free to use the pics. I can attest that this used to be mine. We handed over in person at the height of the pandemic. Its a stupidly good bass.
  3. Now £1795. I need this gone. Must be the cheapest one of these out there...
  4. Sold a bass on there that wouldn’t sell here. No fees, instant payment and the cash is now in my bank. Well done EBay!
  5. We’re not here to make a profit, but to make good music…
  6. None at all. It’s a very lightweight -and we’ll balanced bass. I actually use it with straplocks so that may have an impact but overall it’s a lovely bass
  7. Does this come with any sort of case?
  8. You didn’t say what you were looking for 🙂
  9. Now £1599. I can't do this any cheaper and will keep it if I get no interest this time.
  10. The guitarist in my band has a residency there. Parking is a nightmare in Bristol centre (as I’m sure you know!). The crowd in there can be very boisterous. He’s experienced fights, smashed glasses and bashed equipment. Just look after yourself and stay vigilant I guess.
  11. I know I should (from a technical point of view) enjoy these videos, but I just can't watch them. All power to the YouTube crew though.
  12. Always read the small print! I asked someone who knows about these things and apparently they make much more money from business sellers. In time he believes eBay will attempt to become more like Amazon. Makes sense. I’ve just reduced the price on two items so there’s parity with BC.
  13. Could this smash the second hand market for instruments? Apparently eBay is slashing fee to 0. Quite how this makes economic sense I have no idea, but you’d expect sellers to now reduce prices to that without fees. I know I have… Interesting to see what happens.
  14. Seems like the classic gig nutcase. In my experience, it’s normally the vocalist that gets the most hassle.
  15. There are two Wals for sale on the Bass Direct website./.
  16. You can always advertise in the wanted section. But I reckon you're fine!
  17. Indeed. It tips the scales at 5kg.
  18. I love originals bands but this cover band is purely a money making venture. The replies here have been helpful. Resentment can easily build up so I’m glad we’ve dealt with it head on.
  19. What an amazing hobby. I’m really impressed you’re able to do all of this. Good luck with everything.
  20. I can’t see the images there on my mobile, but you might be right. The neck and body join look good and so does the scratch plate. Occam’s razor and all that.
  21. Yes, I managed to find the listing from almost 20 years ago!
  22. It’s a standard Siennaburst Fender. only obvious change is the knobs (as these would be strat ones) These were notorious for being absolute monsters in terms of weight. I had one that I reckon was over 5kg. Sold it for £750 in 2004. Reckon this is about £2000 to expensive. AB had a late 70s jazz on for £2k, for example.
