This isn’t the case here. The price you pay at the till is the online price. I have no shares in PMT but the label makes it clear this is what happens.
-
It’s good. The staff are (by and large) positive and friendly and the store is well managed. They were helping a young woman select a parlour guitar when I was there. They also have used guitars too (including a couple of lovely Stingrays!)
-
Often the deep damage to Fretless boards isn’t caused by playing, but by the strings being pushed against the board while basses are in transit or are dropped, fall off stands, etc. Any wear to an ebony board can easily be repaired.

Free. Will stick in the post. The back has a really cool picture of 1970s Fender basses! You can only have one.

On every single item in the store…

I’d love that list too!

He does indeed! Blue Lagoon is a great gig.

Are you based near the city? Most of the pubs use a promotions company. My band works with him and he’s good. Happy to put you in touch if you’re close by as there are always gigs. Also, the best gigs aren’t in the centre but in the suburbs.

On the other hand, musicians have obsessive fans and are likely to pay the cash for something like this.

This is a good idea. It's not my thing really (I don't have £120 or a start), but I can definitely see how this would be successful. There are some quite high upfront costs, but if you've got the cash, good luck to you.

Good advice. Last time we stayed in one, the guitarist called ahead and the manager there allowed us to put all the gear in a locked room overnight. It was opposite the reception which was operated 24/7. Assume this was at her discretion, but it was excellent service:

This is an excellent articulation of the difference.

100% agree. I've been playing 27 years and my backup bass is an HB jazz bass. It's perfect for its job.
-
Love Edwinn Starr. Was 25 miles that got me into soul music.
-
I think the OP is joking and probably understands the various no-amp practice methods out there. I used to get paid a mileage allowance to cycle to different NHS work bases and considered myself (for that travel time) to be a pro cyclist.

They’re physically printed tags. Of course, in an ideal world, they’d do this but the chap explained to me it would take too long as they fluctuate daily. The shops will likely be tracking online prices daily using a programme and updating them to ensue they’re competitive. This is how online businesses work. (I know because I’ve work with lots of them) I just don’t get someone wandering around a shop and not stopping someone and asking a question, especially if I wanted to buy an item.
-
This is really stupid. I bought my bass at PMT and I asked about the online price. The guy explained that they simply don’t have time to alter the prices every time they change and they always honour the online price. In fact, it it were cheaper online anywhere they’d match it. The online and in-person operations are the same. The price you pay will be the same online as in the shop. Speak to a person and all will be well.
