  1. Still here… I’ve just spent a huge amount on a new Martin so I need this gone…
  2. Had a few interested individuals but nothing concrete, so bump again!
  3. I've just spent lots of money on a vintage guitar, so I would like to sell this. Thankfully I now have a huge padded box, so can post... Any interest?
  4. watching these videos he just seems like such a huge personality. Dementia is so cruel.
  5. I find there’s an inverse relationship between how much I think about instruments and how much I play. The more gigs I play the less I care about the guitar. I’ve a lovely collection of basses from vintage to bespoke and settled on a classic modern Fender. The reason? I know it works… If you can try both and find one that’s a tool that helps you achieve the result you want.
  6. Always wanted one of these. Looks amazing!
  7. I list all my bases at the price I'll accept (with the addition of fees and associated nonsense that eBay brings). That means BC members get a healthy discount. eBay is basically gumtree now. It's an online marketplace offering fixed price listings for most things.
  8. Yes, I get that. In the end, we built a room around the DB (as preposterous as that sounds, it's true). In the end we converted my loft and I've got the DB up there now. It's a great adventure that never ends...
  9. Also, I'm not sure if Simon is still setting them up, but if he is then that's worth every penny. Simon is one of the best guitar and bass techs out there, as well as being a thoroughly lovely chap.
  10. I thought books and low value packages were outside of duty calculations. Such a shame!
  11. Turns out, Jeff is a Bassmaster! https://m.bassmaster.com/anglers/jeff-duncan-0 (Caution: May contain fishing content!)
  12. I’d recommend getting some lessons. You’ll also likely find that as soon as you play a real DB you’ll want one (I know I did). The DB does something to people that I don’t quite understand. I could basically play 5 notes in tune and got gigs. It really is that easy (and I was rubbish). It’s like being the popular kid at school…
  13. Few in the queue for this one. But will update the listing as soon as it’s gone…

  15. I got this years ago in a box of stuff. I think it’s for use with a looper. You stamp on it and it provides the bass drum sound. I’m no Ed Sheeran, bjt perhaps you are? If so. It’s yours for postage…
