1.
Would you consider a trade or p/x for an EXH Bass Big Muff? Or a straight swap for a WD7?
Sorry man, need the money, straight sale only now
2. Dropped a lot of cash on a hemtoma, so this needs to be replaced by a wad of cash
3. How many pot holes has it got drilled?
4. Interested in selling just the head and the 410?
5. Just bought a HBE Psilocybe off him, Good comms and quick delivery, definitely recommend
6. Is the marshall up for sale? Any more info on it if it is?
7. I've been playing 6 years, and in that time I've been through 25 cables. I seem to destroy them at a rate of knots, I don't think I put them through undue abuse, but eventually all the jacks seem to go dodgy, the either get visibly bent or just inexplicably go dodgy. Basically, I'm tired of spending £60 a year on cables, is there a cable out there with very heavy duty jack plugs? I'd be willing to splash out a bit if it lasted for more than 2 years.
8. I never buy stuff from anyone else, I once ordered some strings and lemon oil, got an email about 20 minutes later saying the lemon oil was out of stock, really apologetic because it was listed as in stock on the site, they refunded me the full amount (incl. postage), sent me the strings, then 2 weeks later sent me the lemon oil, including a free t-shirt. Infact, I do need some new strings and a cable.....
9. I just treated myself to a HBE Psilocybe phaser, if it fits into your music i'd suggest a phaser, and a filter of some description is a bass essential imo
10. Had some interest but somethings come up that I want, so more bumpage
11. You won't be able to run the bottle rocket off a power supply, it needs it's own, so that only leaves you with 3 pedals, unless you plan on buying a lot more. For that kind of use, I don't think the diago's worth it, it's quite expensive and provides far more power than you'll need. I'd check the current requirements for the pedals you want to run and get a single adapter and use a daisy chain
12. What have you got by way of a head, at least 250w into 8ohms, pricewise under £300? Cheers
13.
You'd be incredibly lucky to find one - those that buy them, love them! And they've only been available in the UK for a month or so. I love mine to bits! Gigged it tonight through an Ashdown 2x10 and 1x15 setup and it was su-perb!
Ahh, didn't realise they were so new, might have to take the plunge and by one new, it is xmas time.......
14. Not wanting to derail the thread too much, but does anyone know what these usually go for 2'nd hand (assuming people ever part with them)? Really, REALLY tempted.
15. Any idea on a cash price?
16. I use a 3-leaf Groove regulator, amazing filterm it's a trimmed down meatball clone, it preserves your original tone, the main advantage of this is it's useful at all settings, where as some more extreme filters like the mutron and various clones, and even the original meatball have a habit of killing speakers if you're not careful. The GR sounds amazing with a fuzz, and it has an effects loop so you can use fuzzes that might clip it if you put it before it
17. To be honest it's a very different sound, the blowtorch and mastotron are very harsh "buzzsaw" fuzzes, muffs, especially the sovtek green are more scooped, smooth creamy fuzzes, but still heavy as hell, i'd say it was the perfect compliment to a mastotron or buzzsaw type fuzz. Oh and more OT, I hope that psilocybe's still here when i get my xmas bursary
18. The "Pink motion controlled phasers make great xmas presents" bump
19.
I keep it simple & it works everytime
So why contribute to a thread entitled: "post your pedalboard?" It might be the sleep deprivation and accompanying paranoia but that seems intentionally antagonizing. I don't surf, but I wouldn't go on a surfing forum and tell them all how pointless their surfboards are.
20. Anyone? Open to offers, throw some numbers at me people. Got the GAS again too some i'm open to trades for anything
21. The obligatory: "completely forgot about this" bump
22. "This bass has just come out of his shop and it’s newer than new" Ahh, one of those famous Marty McFly signature basses from the future
23. Sounds very interesting, you have a PM sir
24. The plastic bits on the tuning ports (the holes) are just decorative and they also sheild any sharp pointy bits in the speaker grille, shouldn't affect the sound at all
