Like I said... guess he doesn´t really wanna do business.. why bother advertising ???
I'd give the guy a few more days, hasn't even been a week yet, stuff happens, when I put my cool cat up for sale my pc died the very next day and the campus network went down, so I had no net access for 3 days, at least give the guy a chance

I still haven't managed New Born by Muse, the riffs are easy enough on there own, it's just my left hand is knackered by halfway through the intro, I spose I just need to work on my left hand strength

Right, as fun as it was having 2 whammy's(whammies? who knows), luxuries like food and electricity are slightly more pressing. I got this to replace my xp-100 which I have now managed to frankenstein back to life, so I've no use for it other than using it with my xp-100 to do epic see-saw walks or 4 octave up digital craziness, which isn't really worth £100 Near perfect condition, few very light scratches, but I didn't even notice them until I looked at it close-up near a lamp to check for them Only pic I've got: Looking for what I paid which was £100 INCLUDING postage

Nice board man, how do you find the hairy balls? I really shouldn't be looking at dirt pedals but I remember hearing about those a while ago but not much since. Also is that a mammoth clone I spot in the bottom right?
I am not entirely sure I understand. It should be possible set the dry signal (aka "Direct Level") as loud as the -1 Oct (aka “OCT 1”) with the stock OC-2. Are you referring to the bypassed signal vs the -1 Oct?
I assume he means that the oct1 volume is lower than the direct signal, even on the same settings, if you run it with oct1 volume at max and direct signal at min the signal is noticeaby quieter, I'd be interested in fixing this aswell, presumably it's just a result of the synthesizing they use to generate the octaves

I havent got any direct experience with any of those, but at that kind of price point there's no coloration, I've got a very simple looper on my boss dd-20 and it sounds great, as far as I'm aware loopers are fairly simple, they do just record whats going in and play it back, so I'd be suprised if any affected the tone at all

Love the site, not sure my modded bad monkey is ever leaving my board, i got to use a stock one recently and there's just no comparison for bass, yours is miles ahead. That oc-2 mod sounds very interesting too, any idea when you're gonna start doing those?

Got this off Rich (Ou7shined) a couple of months ago, great fun, but once I got over the dirty thrill of running it through my pedalboard, I realised I've got no practical use for it, I got it to work out song ideas but I'm not writing much atm, and one of my housemates come septemeber is a drummer with a rather nice tama kit, so my modest drumming needs will be fufilled One of the first widely available drum machines to use PCM (actual samples), released in 1984 I believe, quite a helpful review here and rich very kindly dug out the manual in pdf form, PM me if you fancy a copy It's in superb condition, few very light scratches, but mostly on the bottom, to say it's older than I am it's in far better shape. Looks a tad grubby in the photo, it's been under my bed since I moved back home, it shall be wiped throughly with a clean and possiby magical sponge as soon as I have the time Crappy camera phone pic: Looking for around what I paid which was £45 posted Might be open to trades for a tremolo/phaser pedal or a decent P or J pickup or possibly other stuff, let me know what you've got

FS: Earthbound Audio Effects SuperCollider fuzz
I'm still trying to remember why I needed two OC-2s. If I do remember I'll buy yours, I swear it was a brilliant idea that I had but it's completely gone...
As a man currently in possession of 2 whammies and an oc-2, I can say octavers are even more dangerous than drugs, 4 octaves up, 6 octaves down, 11 octaves down, 1 octave down then 2 octaves up then 1 octave down, all kinds of digital fun to be had -

They're quite sought after, grygrx of bassfuzz.com seems to be loving d*a*m gear at the moment, and they seem to be the flavour of the month on talkbass, so you could probably get quite a bit for it
Why do you need 2 whammies and an octaver?
Because girls love it There is a semi reasonable explanation, I had the xp-100, then got the oc-2 for synthy goodness because I don't like the octave down on the whammies, then the xp-100 died so I replaced it with the wh-4, which I then managed to kind of fix. I'm still undecided as to which to sell. I like some of the sounds on the xp-100, but I prefer the tracking and construction of the wh-4, the xp-100 isn't actuallt fixed properly yet, so I'll keep them both for now. 4 octaves up is an experience to be reckoned with

Bit of a change, should have an actual board built soon

from america proguitarshop.com are quite good, they stock mostly boutique gear that's hard to come by over here, and when I ordered them they marked down the value on the shipping info so it wouldn't get stopped and leaving me paying exorbitant import duty, which is very handy

Sorry for the delay folks, but I've finally got access to a decent recording PC again, so it's soundclips for everyone! I apologize for the sloppy playing, i've probably got more caffiene in my system than blood atm, anywho, I've tried to do it somewhat methodically, all the settings are within each sample except for the one being changed, volume was constant throughout all all of them, I apologize if they're a tad quiet/noisy, just using the stock soundcard on this pc (which is actually suprisingly good), a lof of the floor noise you can hear when the mastotron is kicked in is actually inteference form the pc/wireless router/wireless mouse and other gizmos around the pc, just amplified to audibility by the mastotorn, it's not usually that noisy Soundclip 1: Subs: 1, then 2, then 3 Tone: 12 Noon PW: 12 Noon Fuzz: 12 Noon Impedance (Relax/Push): 12 Noon Soundclip 2: This is just my favourite setting, no variation Subs: 3 Tone: Max PW: Min (Symmetrical) Fuzz: Max Impedance (Relax/Push): Min (Relax) Soundclip 3: Subs: 3 Tone: Max PW: Min (Symmetrical) Fuzz: Min, 11'o'clock, 2'o'clock, max Impedance (Relax/Push): Min (Relax) Soundclip 4: Subs: 3 Tone: Min, 11'o'clock, 2'o'clock, max PW: Min (Symmetrical) Fuzz: Max Impedance (Relax/Push): Min (Relax) Soundclip 5: Subs: 3 Tone: 3'o'clock PW: Min, 11'o'clock, 2'o'clock, max Fuzz: 3'o'clock Impedance (Relax/Push): Min (Relax) Soundclip 6: Subs: 3 Tone: Min PW: Min (Symmetrical) Fuzz: Max Impedance (Relax/Push): Min, 11'o'clock, 2'o'clock, max This was with my 9v active, just shows how big a difference the impedance blend makes Hope these are useful, if anyone wants any specific settings/lines recording let me know and i'll see what I can do, I could even record some samples of my other pedals if anyone wants them, I'm in a bit of a recording mood, theres a picture of my current crop up in the pedalboard thread (except the green stache and cool cat are gone now)
