1. EMG 35P4 pickup, used but in excellent condition.. I'll upload a photo later today. Comes complete with quick connect cable. £30 inc UK postage. Paypal or bank transfer ''The 35P4 design has two offset coils that result in more low end with brilliant highs. It uses short, squat coils that have very little resistance and plenty of inductance and ceramic magnets are used to add clarity. The 35P4 has a natural presence, powerful lows, punchy midrange, and superior definition. This pickup uses a 35 Extended housing that is 3.5 inches (89mm).''
2. I sold a Hipshot bridge to mrbassman_de, payment was immediate, a pleasure to do business with.
3. One final bump before I put this back in my parts box for good
4. For Sale: Atomic FR Passive Cab I've decided to add another powered Atomic to my setup, so I have a passive cab up for grabs (it's the one on the bottom). Very good condition, never gigged.. I'll take some better pictures once I've picked it up from my bands rehearsal room. Full spec can be seen here: http://www.fractalaudio.com/products-at-reactor.html SOLD Sorry no trades. I will consider posting to Europe, please ask for a quote.
5. One final price drop... £90 inc postage
6. Bump... I'm open to (sensible) offers, or maybe even a part-ex on something, particularly recording gear
7.
I guess you need the Graphtech preamp to pair with this to make it useful?
You'd need some sort of buffer/preamp yes, it doesn't have to be the Graphtech one though (although they are very good).
8. Hipshot/Graph Tech 5 string bridge (Alloy), this is brand new and has never been used, however the base plate has picked up a small mark while in storage, hence the reason I've listed it as 'B-stock'. The scuff mark is very small and will barely be noticeable when fitted. String spacing is 19mm. Screws are included. This was purchased from Best Bass Gear for $235 (£145), that doesn't include postage to the UK, import duty, or the clearance fee from the robbing gits at Parcel Force! I'm asking £135, posted (UK only). Payment by Paypal or online bank transfer.
9. Squier P-Bass Body: Made from the finest 'plywood' tonewood As you can see, it's had a hard life... there's a couple of nasty dents on the bottom edge, numerous scratches, paint chips, plus the usual cracks in the paint by the neck pocket. I'm only asking £12 inc postage... so basically, cost of postage + a beer for my trouble. There's a possibility that I might have the old scratchplate and pickups somewhere, if I can find them then I'll throw them in for free but no promises. I don't have a neck, or any other parts. Paypal only, sent as a 'gift' is preferred.
10. MXR Wylde Overdrive REDUCED to £45 inc postage
11. MXR M288 Octave Pedal: Complete with box, perfect working order and in excellent condition. Just few light scratches on the base, where some old velcro was removed. Currently fitted with 2 strips of pedal board tape (easily removed), but the old rubber feet are in the box. [s]£80[/s] SOLD MXR Wylde Overdrive: Perfect working order. A few scratches and the odd tiny paint chip.. for some reason best known to himself, the previous owner has sanded the paint of the base plate down to bare metal. [s] £50 inc postage. [/s] REDUCED to £45 inc postage Planet Waves pedal connectors, as new.. SOLD each or the SOLD for the pair (inc postage). Payment via Paypal, UK buyers only.
12. Diamond Spec-Op 2x12 cab, 2 x Celestion V30’s wired to 16 ohms, edge-lift handles and casters included. Less than a year old, never gigged, in exellent condition... £375 (+ postage). Paypal or bank transfer. I'm in Burntwood, Staffordshire but posting isn't a problem (UK only). I'll post some better photos tomorrow...
13.
how do you find the ernie ball wah on bass ? andy
I'm afraid I couldn't tell you, I've not tried it out with a bass yet.
14.
Great looking board Simo. Fantastic. How do you find the MXR Noise Gate. I really need to try a noise gate out soon for my monster board...
I'll have to wait to give my final verdict on the Smart Gate, as I've not used it at a rehearsal or gig as yet, but at low(ish) volumes it works a treat. I'm in the process of setting up a new band, so hopefully I'll be able to give it a proper test drive soon.
15.
Wow that certainly looks the business - very smart indeed. What are the jack connectors that you are using between the 3 MXR pedals?
Thanks, the connectors are made by Planet Waves.
16. This is my DIY (guitar ) pedal board which I made a few months ago. It's mdf, covered with black acrylic, alloy trim and a pair of Ikea's finest cupboard handles There's a Diago power supply hidden in the tier, with a couple of Scythe Mini Kaze LED fans to keep it cool. I've also fitted a brush cable tidy (made from a letterbox draught excluder) in the front face on the tier, which allows the patch/power cables to be neatly routed from pedal to pedal. Pedal wise it's pretty simple... Polytune, MXR Octave (which sounds great with guitar), MXR Zakk Wylde Overdrive (soon to be replaced with an MXR Delay due to lack of use), noise gate, Ernie Ball wah and the footswitch for my Blackstar S100 head.
