1. I've learned something !! The J is twin coil,
2. I haven't a clue !! I put them down as the cheapest set, they might be the most expensive set for all I know, they came with a Lakland PJ conversion that also had a 1/4 pounder with it. I chose to add another J 1/4 pounder to the beast.
3. Classic tones from these amazing Precision & Jazz pick up set. Immaculate condition
4. 2006 Korean Skyline model which I believe came with Lindy Fralins in Natural and with a Rosewood Board. this is also a rare (and extra cost) factory fitted Jazz neck version. Immaculate condition Based in Essex / East London
5. Top Man Dan, just relieved him of a fantastic bass flight case. Great to deal with
6. Not really, trying to slim down the collection !
7.
Is the USA P/J still available ?
Yes, still available.
8. Thank you for this link, has brought back so many memories of my favourite band (until recently) and the good times I've had following them from 1969 to 2014. Lost count of the times I've seen them over the years, but I still have ticket stubs for over 50 !! (Sad Old Git) This to me was Yes at their prime ✌️
9. Cheers Guys, I'm considering using the big name companies such as Big Yellow or Safe Store etc. there's quite a few to chose from. Not interested in using a container in a yard or a garage in a block on some dodgy housing estate ! lol This is more about how best to store them, ie laying flat ot standing up etc, or does it not matter providing they are not crushed etc
10. Due to space restrictions, I'm considering renting some space at one of those storage companies nearby for my guitars and rigs. The amps and cabs are not a problem, but how best to prepare guitars for storage ? They will all be in hard cases or flightcases, but shoud they be de tuned to ease neck tension ? Should I put Silica Gel packs in the case ? Etc. Anyone one had good/bad experiences with these sort of companies? Would appreciate some advice
11. I swear by Laklands, love them to bits and never had a bad one. Having owned plenty of Joe Osbourn's, I'm now fixed on Bob Glaubs, especially if they have a Jazz Neck & extra Jazz pick up.
12. Top Man is our Herman, relieved me of a Markbass Rig. Great communicator & met bang on time. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
13. Gone to a good home down Sarf
14. Yes Flex, that's the one and it's still available reasonable offer
15. Just had a silly offer....... Well it made me laugh
16. P'ms sent
17.
Love the natural one. Is the Jazz neck factory?
Yes Cocco, extremely rare to find one.
18. The Black one is now with Karlfer, Please contact Karl for more details.
19.
You should consider offering to swap the necks over on the Skylines. Black/Rosewood and natural/natural. Win/win. P
I agree with you that they would look best like that, but then they would no longer be ' Original' as they left the factory ! Black @ Rosewood = Geezer Butler lookalike
