Not sure...but I'm having problems running it at low volumes...haven't tried turning it up loud, but I suspect it would be the same.

I don't own one..but I'm impressed by the tone of the 5 string fretles Ultra's.

Yup I enjoyed that. Does anyone know what effect he was using to get the guitar sound?

I've got an Ampeg SVT 200t amp, owned it for years, and like the sound. It started giving me problems, so I had it repaired/ overall end by the fabulous guys at Surrey amp hospital. Unfortunately it didn't work correctly...took it back ( outside their guarantee ) , and they very kindly gave it a thorough check and found no fault. The amp plays fine for a few minutes, and then the sound fades away to nothing...then fades back again...this repeats itself. The guys at the amp hospital had it running without any problems running it through one of their cabs. I'm stumped. Is it possible that my cab ( Hartke XL 410) could be the problem? Any experts out there..please help, I don't want to spend any more money on this amp.

I use one of the original 410XL's from the 80's and have been very happy with it..I notice that nowadays these can be bought new for around £300, as opposed to nearly £800 back in the day. Is there any difference in quality between my 80 s cab and the newer cheaper ones?...I'm a bit gutted TBH ! Any info would be most welcome.
