1. Hi, Price/trade value £700 I got this in a trade a few weeks back. Its a Warmoth Gecko 6 'er. Its in very good condition but there are one or two signs of honest wear, nothing major..just a few 'impressions' here and there on the body....a little bit of wear on the back of the neck..again nothing major. The bass plays really nice, with a comfortable action. One piece mahogany body. 5 Piece Flame Maple neck Seymour Duncan ASB-2 pick ups Seymour Duncan STC-3 preamp Vol (Push/pull...with 'slap switch') , Pick up Pan, Bass, Mid,Treble. Kahler Bridge with adjustable string spacing. Gotoh Tuners. I would prefer a straight sale..however feel free to tempt me with a trade...or a cash offer. 5. I waited for 1 month for this, got it yesterday evening played it for less than 5 mins and came to the conclusion that it wasn't for me. Should have tried before I bought it. My bad. The bass is less than 24hrs old. Has beautiful Gibson Hard case, original Gibson cardboard box...ITS NEW!! These cost £949 and may have to be pre-ordered in some instances. Save yourself £149 The bass has a few scratches to the scratch plate..but thats how I got it. Price is now £800 Last reduction.....£750 Looking for a possible trade for a 6 string fretless. ..or WHY try me 😀

7. Thanks for your help. It turns out that they weren't metric..I think the Americans use imperial. I ended up getting them at a place called " Apex Fasteners" ...got 6 for 50p.....awesome.
8. No Andy, Pick guard screws are wood screws...these are a different type of thread...similar thread to pick up height adjustment screws .
9. hi, I'm after some screws for the back control plate of my bass( warmoth).. The thing is they're not wood screws...they look like metric ones..as they screw into inserts in the control cavity. Ebay has zillions of screws, but they're all for wood..or pick up height adjustment. Can anyone help? Cheers!
10. I've always liked these. The thing that bothers me most of all is not the fan frets..but the whopping 37" scale...WTF! How does anyone with normal/ small hands negotiate with that??
11. I dunno Jack, there's a pretty good review ... http://www.mylespaul.com/forums/other-single-cuts/302865-revelation-les-paul-bass-copy.html
12. ive been thinking a long time about buying one of these...they look great, and built well. I bet it sounds wicked with flats. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291305832924?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
13. Many thanks my friend.
14. does anyone know where I can get radius blocks/ gauges for the large radii of 6 string basses? I have a set ..but they only go up to 16" radius....6 ers have a much larger radius.
15. I think that it selects the mid freq...something like 300/800 ha..if it's an Op3 Aguilar preamp.
16. Are the controls Vol/pan/ bass/ mid/ treble? ..and is the mini switch a coil tap? Thanks.
17. Hi, what's the scale length?
18. I'm a fan. I own a HBB 600 6 're....and its a cracking bass..all the tones are useable, playability is great..when I bought it I paid £120 to my door. I have owned several exotic / boutique 6 ers....they've all gone..still have my Harley, and I'm not looking for another 6 ' er
19.
Up for sale is my beloved Tacoma Acoustic bass. This was purchased from Gruhns Guitars in Nashville. This is not the standard model, this is the upgraded 28C version which retailed at twice the price of the std model. It has a solid flame maple body, ivory fingerboard and tort binding. The condition is excellent, no dings or chips anywhere. This particular bass was custom made for a Country star over there and it has artist stamped in the body and has custom inlays on the fingerboard. Comes with an original HSC How does it sound?? Well Ive tried them all including Martin and Taylor and this blows them away. It is really loud unplugged due to the large body and unique bracing system. It also plays like an electric due to low action and fast neck. I can arrange packing and courier service no problem Thanks for looking
Ivory fingerboard...you sure?
20. Lovely playing..lovely tone.
21. So it's going to someone a grand?
22.
That's a gorgeous piece of kit. I'd offer my ACG but I'd be afraid you'd say yes and I might miss it. I've always loved these buzzards, specially the fivers. Pardon my lack of Warwick knowledge, but isn't it German built ?
Thanks Bassman. Yes you're right it is German built. I of course understand..there's a part of that really doesn't want to part with this Buzzard...I've grown to love it tbh..but like so many others before me I need to sell to raise some cash...and at the same time get (yet another bass...groan)....and you're right I might just say yes . Bassists huh....what are we like
