Hello groovers,
I've got a Markbass CMD 103H which I don't use nowadays.
How easy would it be for a layman like me to convert it into three 1 x 10" cabinets?
Or, better still maybe one 210 cabinet and single 10"...........?
Anybody out there done this? I'm sure you have..............
Good morning groovers,
I have a fantastic Markbass CMD 103H in my garage. I never use it nowadays and it certainly can’t go in the house…..!!!
I’d like to take the Markbass II out of the combo and connect it to a 1 x 10” cab and see how that works in the house.
Is there anyone in the Swindon area, or south west, who’d lend me a cab for a few days so I could have tinker. I’m a very clean and careful cat so you wouldn’t have to worry.
Nice bottle of wine or a slab of beers coming your way if you fancy it.
Big love to all,
Hey guys and gals,
I'm gassing for a stack knob in my life and was on here looking for a thread to daydream over..........
If there is one, could someone send me a link. I have looked, honestly.......
If not, shall we start one?
Kindest regards,
Hiya,
I'm no officianado but I was just reading another discussion on here where one chap suggested depressing the E string down pickguard side of the bridge, quite firmly to create a change in angle. This sets the string correctly into the saddle and "should" be done every time we change strings or change tuning.
By the way, I have a similar issue with the first string. I always feel like it's sharper sounding and not like the other 3. I play a bit of slap too, I always have to try and stifle pops to make them percussive.
Thanks for getting back to me guys.......
Just for context, I'm going to recreate a homage to the link below.........
I have a Squier 70's Jazz.........
It will also (hopefully) cure excessive GAS.........

Thank you for this.......... I just had a look on Tiny Tone....... there's some nice looking red torts on there..... but like you've mentioned, once it's cut there's no returns....
