  1. Remarkably similar but I don't believe it's the same bass. The finish on mine is not as translucent as that sadly. That said, that ad is 6 years old so maybe the finish has become less translucent as its aged? Not sure if that is a real thing though lol
  2. Looks like it's made in Japan judging by the tiny sticker on the front of the headstock. I could be mistaken though as I have to squint...
  3. **Further Price Drop to £1775** Up for sale is my 1994 Pedulla MVP 4 string bass. This bass is a high-end, hand-built bass with top quality build and a sound and playability that is second to none. This particular bass also has the rare option of the Bartolini Soapbar pickups! As you can see from the photos, this bass is a players bass and has quite a few marks and a few areas were the finish is missing - but then it is nearly 30 years old! For me, these marks and signs of use are always a good sign of a bass that is always being used because it is just that good! Please note that the bass has been well used, but never abused! There is the normal slight oxidisation showing on the gold hardware. There are no cracks or real damage, just plenty of signs of use. The electronics function perfectly, the frets have plenty of life left in them, the trussrod works perfectly(the action is fantasticly low) and the bass play like a dream in general. The bass has received a complete pro setup and has been thoroughly cleaned: frets polished, fretboard cleaned and oiled and it has brand new Warwick strings fitted. It plays like a dream with a low action,Weight is a very manageable 4.1kg(9.0lbs) Although the finish looks to be a solid red in some photos it is just because the bass is very hard to photograph well. The finish is a high gloss translucent red. Worldwide shipping available - I will only ship using a fully insured and tracked service for everyone’s peace of mind. The bass will be shipped in the original hardcase which will be protected by additional packaging internally and externally. If you have any questions please let me know.
  4. **NOW SOLD** Description Updated to reflect the info provided by helpful BCers below: Up for sale is this beautiful Tune Bass Maniac. This bass was built in 1996 in Kore and is in amazing condition for a 25 year old instrument. If you are looking at this ad you probably already know of the awesome reputation these basses have - you wont do better at this price point, or probably double this amount! It is all original except for the nut - I believe the original nut was also brass but this has been improved to a Warwick brass Just-A-Nut I which is fully adjustable for the best possible setup and playability. The bass has received a complete pro setup and has been thoroughly cleaned: frets polished, fretboard cleaned and oiled and it has brand new Warwick strings fitted. It plays like a dream with a medium-low action, perfect balance, and incredibly light weight of 3.1kg(6.8lbs). It also benefits from a 34" scale length. All of the electronics function perfectly, as does the truss rod and the rest of the hardware. The electronics active(with no passive option) and the controls are volume, pickup blend, treble(boost/cut) and bass(boost/cut) - there is also a trim pot in the control cavity which I believe sets the midrange output. Please note that the finish of the bass changes depending on the light - if you see the last few photos I have used the flash to show this off. Worldwide shipping available - the bass will be shipped in a simple but functional hardcase with additional packaging internally. To save money on shipping costs, I can also remove the neck and carefully pack the body and neck and ship them within a box. If you have any questions please let me know.
  5. Wow, Masterpiece is a very apt name in this case!😍

  9. **the best upgrade you can ever make to your hifi and you dont even have to pay for it!!! Im moving in 1 week - please dont let these end up in a skip!!!** ** Dimensions are 700w x 1000h x 100d - that is the main panel. The base they sit on adds 400mm of height.** DIY Room Treatment Accoustic Panels - 4 for FREE! These were built by myself and used, very succesfully at Scalford(best HiFi show in the country!) twice and in my living room for the last 7 years to bring out the best in my HiFi. WAF(wife approval factor) is probably somewhere around the zero mark and they will need new cloth as the existing cloth is a little bit manky but the frames and the rockwool are in good order - the "stands" are easily removed from the main frame for transport/maintenance(ie. replacing the cloth). Cost me over £100 in materials to build these and the difference they make is staggering. Only selling due to moving country. Collection only from Dudley, DY3 Further details here from my previous threads on these panels over at hifi wigwam: https://www.hifiwigwam.com/forum/topic/50868-diy-room-accoustic-treatment/?tab=comments#comment-1010480 https://www.hifiwigwam.com/forum/topic/51086-chriss-diy-accoustic-treatment-panels-part-2/?tab=comments#comment-1014221 Pic from my first time exhibiting at Scalford HiFi Show : Pics as they are now:
  10. Hands down the best looking Stingray I've ever seen!😍
  11. Yeah i reported the scamming cnuts
  12. Lovely bass but @TheGreek isnt it an RS940?
  13. **please note that this bass is now located in Bendorf 56170, Germany** Shipping worldwide is of course still possible My clear out due to moving country is almost complete - this is the final bass I am selling and I've saved the best till last. No trades please as I am looking to make space. This is a 2006 Warwick Streamer LX Jazzman, built in Germany and comes with a brand new ABS hardcase from Thomann. Worldwide fully insured shipping available at cost - normally £25 UK, £55 EU, £75-£105 for everywhere else. The reputation of these super versatile basses generally proceeds them but in case you dont know, these are highly sort after and the tonal range and quality really helps set them apart from the crowd. Thanks to the MM-style pickup with 3-way coil tapping options and the ability to combine these with the jazz pickup or solo either of the pickups. On top of that you also get a 3 band EQ and active passive switching so these really are the basses for all occassions! The bass has a bit of a story - apparently it has has been fettled by the well respect luthier Jon Shuker. Jon replaced the dodgy Warwick truss rod with a 2-way rod of his own - meaning there are no neck related gremlins to fear with this Warwick! The work also involved a new Wenge fretboard with stainless steel frets. The neck profile was reduced slightly(front to back) and refinished with a light poly coat. The back of the headstock was also sanded during this work and so the last 2 digits of the serial(indicating the model year) have vanished but it is an '06 - see below details from the Warwick website. He also touched up the Ocean blue finish a little bit and recoated the body with a blue tint PU finish. Lastly he sunk the bridge saddle block into the body a touch more as the action wouldn't go as low as the previous owner would have liked. Obviously the bass has been used since this work was caried out so there are a few scratches to the new finish and some of the touch up work can be seen - please check the photos carefully as I have tried to show any imperfections in them. High res photos here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/q9eXwN8n9Epen3Lm6 So what we have is a beautiful looking, playing and sounding German Streamer LX Jazzman that functions perfectly - including the electronics obviously. The bass weighs 4.3kg. Serial number: b 123022 06 Article number: 1214360200GDAFHOWW produced: Description: Streamer, 4-string Ocean Blue Oil finish Swamp Ash/AA Flamed Maple top body Ovangkol neck Gold hardware Made in Germany
  14. Its actual for a 'Tri-Sound' Aria Pro II - Tri-Sound is the name of the model of bass from the Pro II lineup. Should fit most Pro II though and you could probably scrub the Tri-Sound bit off if you have a different model😉
  15. The confusion over the model name is rife and quite understandable. Regardless, these are phenomenal basses.
  16. My clearout due to moving country continues... with that in mind - no trades please. Up for sale is the newly re-fretted Aria SB-Elite II / SB-ELT / SB-RSZ Model history: so here is what I know of the history behind this model(thanks to @Fionn for this info!): when it was first released, they called it the SB-Elite II, but changed it to SB-ELT shortly after, so it wouldn’t be confused with a previous model named SB-Elite II. Anyway, Rudy Sarzo was playing one, so when they got him to endorse it they renamed it the SB-RSZ. All. 3 different names in only 3 years of production. Meanwhile, in Japan, they called it the SB-800 the whole time, despite the fact that there was already a bolt-on single pickup model with that name.... Bass History: Anyway, back to this particular bass - it was originally fretted but somewhere along the line became a fretless which is how I bought it back in 2018. I had it professionally refretted by a local luthier (Tony Wright of Lakestone Guitars) so it is now back in it's original form. Whilst it was being refretted I took the hardware and got it shot-blasted to get rid of the tarnish on the gold hardware - the hardware now has a nickel-like finish which looks much nicer IMO. It isnt perfect though - the gold finish was heavily tarnished and so the shot-blasting worked well but in a couple of small areas it went a bit further so there are some areas where that are slightly unsightly - I am being picky here as this is a 30+ year old bass but I want to be as honest as possible. The bass in general is in very good condition for its age but again there are a few little bumps and knocks commensurate with normal use - certainly not abuse! I have tried to capture all of these in the photos so please study them carefully - there is nothing of any real significance other than a slight crack near the jack - the bass is rock solid, everything works perfectly including the truss rod and electronics. All the pots and switches have been cleaned and work perfectly. Did I mention this bass sounds epic? Not to mention versatile, despite being passive! It features VVT controls and two coil tap switches to give you plenty of tonal varieties to chose from. The natural tone of this bass is quite bright and clear with a hot output. The bass is all original and I believe the case is also original to the bass. There is a small screw missing from the control cavity cover but otherwise it is complete and fully functioning. The same luthier that refretted it has just given it a pro setup with new Warwick Red Label strings. The ergonomics are excellent - perfect access to all frets , comfortable playing standing or sitting thanks to the body shape and contours. This bass weighs exactly 4kg and the balance is as perfect as it gets. The neck has a jazz neck feel to it - ie thin and fast. I think that covers all of it - if you have any questions please let me know. Worldwide shipping available at cost - I have a box to pack the bass and case in to for added protection. Detailed photos here - please check these for the not so pretty bits!: https://photos.app.goo.gl/chfjsuMRjE1n4kJKA
  17. Thanks guys - yes i can courier - probably around £5 though
  18. Beautiful bass! Love that birdseye maple! They are definitely Schaller tuners - that is their logo on the back and they look like every other Schaller tuner - the good news is they are excellent tuners!
  19. One of my dream basses! Thank god im downsizing otherwise i would have this. Note to seller - have a look at Transferwise.com as a cheaper and better alternative to Paypal for international transfers/payments. Ive used it a couple of times including on here when selling my Streamer Stage II and it is brilliant - better exchange rates and much lower fees than PayPal. GLWTS!
