  1. Super comfy then and compliments the wider spacing perfectly. Around £7000 to buy one of these new today!!!
  2. Because they are Warwick! I have a 1990 Stage 1 broadneck with Bartolinis and adore the neck and spacing! What's the profile like on this? Mine is quite a thin D profile
  3. Could well be, couldn't find any mention of it on tinternet though...
  4. Are the photos showing properly for everyone? To me they look stretched which is a shame as it looks like a nice bass but hard to say exactly from what i can see...
  5. Sensible offers considered
  6. Yep, looks like every piece of Ovangkol I've ever owened or seen and ive owned a lot. So actually in this case I say the spec sheet is erroneous
  7. Final price drop to £3100 shipped anywhere in the world - fully tracked and insured
  8. Looks like it could be good value for money if you're in the market... Look at this on eBay https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F202776756230
  9. The bass is still for sale...
  10. I would be more worried about the neck issues personally...
  11. Thanks for the heads-up on this bargain, I just brought it. Really looking forward to getting my hands on it. I'm not familiar with the brand but I'll assume it was a bargain because of your post. Thanks again
  12. Apparently this Warwick Thumb is made in Japan but you can read the description and see for yourself - it should be fairly obvious... https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F254328750196
  13. Don't all NT Thumbs have 3 band EQs? Another custom option would be the brass JAN I. Great looking bass. NT Thumbs have a piano like clarity that only my Ritter Roya can match. They also have one of the tightest Bs in the game!
  14. Is this sarcasm? He fully details the condition of each part of the bass and everything he has changed. He even says you can try before you buy. How is that not trustworthy,???
  15. Is that my old white Streamer? If so I would hope the repaired headstock, refinish and non-original EQ are clearly advertised so the buyer knows exactly what they are getting
  16. I have plenty of words to describe this but most would not get past the swear filter...
  17. Seems like a real bargain: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F303195795632
  18. Thanks Kev, that's everything I needed to know.
  19. Well I'm sorry but I think the broadneck, at least for Warwick, also refers to width at the nut. Standard 4 string width at the nut for Warwicks is 38.5mm but they do 4 string broadneck with a nut width of 44mm.
  20. So I think I am right in thinking that 5 string broadneck Pro 1s are quite rare. What about 4 string Pro 1 broadnecks? Is this rare, standard or just somewhere in between?
  21. It certainly is and you aren't likely to find one without the headstock repair and as this was a repaired by a pro so should have little effect on value.
  22. Stunning bass! These older Streamers with the cherrywood bodies are incredible - much thinner body and lighter than the later Streamers. You can really see and feel the hand-crafted quality of these beautiful instruments. I already have 8 Warwicks though and already looking to sell 6 of them shortly otherwise I would have been all over this!
  23. Nah he was less painful to look at!!!
  24. Looks like '08 if you look closely at the back of the headstock...
