  3. Wash your mouth out young man! These speakers are far too good to be used for anything other than their intended purpose. Just to add, the driver is a full range coaxial design and the capacitor was replaced with a very nice audiophile one and the cabling upgraded so these really do sound great!
  4. That'sthe least of its problems, look at the frets! They look like metal noodles placed by Stevie Wonder!!!
  5. Pair of vintage Dynatron LS2014 speakers - very easy load so suitable for low powered valve amp. Excellent sound quality if a little bass light. Not the prettiest things so ideal for the shed or man cave. Collection from Sedgley DY3
  6. Fat Freddys Drop tickets x3 Nov 2nd 2018, Birmingham, O2 Academy I have 3 spare tickets I'm looking to sell for just under face value. £25 each or £65 for all 3 I can post or meet on the night.
  7. A few issues mate, you might want to read the rules as you can't sell Ricks here and you need prices and pics and the guitars should be advertised in a different part of this forum... GLWTS though, lots of very interesting kit for sale!
  8. Neil purchased my Levy strap, paid instantly and great communication, a pleasure to deal with.
  9. Ashdown Five Fifteen mini stack - cosmetically in good used condition but the sound is slightly distorted - not sure if it's the head or the cab so it's priced for spares/repair. Collection only from DY3 Sedgley
  10. Thanks! She is a very lovely bass but a car to get to and from work is my priority at the moment sadly... I am assuming that the "Wow" was regarding the bass and not the shipping costs though lol...
  11. Just to update, shipping costs are expensive due to the insurance but here they are: UK: £50 Europe: £75 Rest of the world: £145
  12. Sandberg's are really underrated! They are very high quality instruments with incredible ergonomics and tone! GLWTS!
  13. A straightjacket would be cheaper and less painful to watch the results of
  14. Upon carefull reflection the seller finally realised that resale value would reflect his poor decision making
  15. Right, finally got this sorted after much phoning around! So basically the only option, should you find yourself in this situation, is to use a third party insurance provider to provide transit cover. There are a few of these companies about but seemingly only one that will cover goods in transit from one private individual to another. The company is called theinsurancebroker.com Tò give you an idea of the cost, for £4000 of coverage shipping to Europe, it's £65. For the rest of the world, £93. Not cheap I know but actually not too bad when you consider the alternative... Hopefully this post will prove helpful - I just wonder how many people are shipping their basses from the UK not knowing they are not even covered by most couriers insurance???
  16. I actually have that album, just not played it through -oops! Here is Mr Miller's version btw:
  17. Will have to check that out. Personally I love Marcus Miller's version - some really lovely fretless playing going on!
  18. Argggh what a stupid scenario! I will have to see if there are third party companies who offer cover for such situations.
