  1. Surprised at the lack of interest so far. These may not be the best looking basses but in terms of sound, versatility and comfort they are in a league of their own. Im just not getting on with the string spacing compared to my broadneck Streamer.
  2. tis a shame really as I would like to buy this bass but im really only interest in a seller who at least works part-time. oh well, my search continues...
  3. Lovely! the pointy parts will come in handy for the removal of stage invaders and generally annoying punters
  4. beautiful! being a custom built instrument you would probably help your sale a lot with some soundclips. detailing the scale length, string spacing and weight will also help. I would also think twice about listing your phone number and email on an open forum as they may be abused by spammers... GLWTS
  5. No definitely not chambered. Just find it a real stretch for that 14lbs as mine is a large 5 string body and neck with the 20mm spacing and all the solid brass hardware etc.
  6. Ok thanks for that, not that familiar the the Rockbasses and so never seen a Warwick with twin tone pots. Just FYI though the link is for an active version so you may want to look at revising that. Cheers
  7. Hmm I have a 5 string Streamer Stage 1 broadneck with a solid maple body and maple neck with neck thru construction. It has a solid brass bridge that weighs 1kg itself. The whole bass weighs weighs less than 4.6kg so im at a complete loss as to how this thing weighs anything approaching 14lbs...
  8. You sure it's passive? That many knobs normally means active with 2 band EQ
  9. Actually I always thought of myself as a bit of a hack and that i was barely coping
  10. I couldn't get it to play either. Needless to say I am sawly disappointed
  11. reading the description on how it is supposed to be held, it kneely sounds dangerous....
  12. apologies but alas, my teeth could bite my tongue no more
  13. I just hope whoever is so unlucky as not to win this beautiful instrument wont be a saw loser...
  14. just think of the 5th string as a thumb rest but yeah, they aint pretty
  15. Why not just buy my 5 string Bongo HS which is listed in the FS thread and save yourself some money and a wait Assuming you can get past the look of the thing lol
  16. thanks, very inetersting. I had assumed it was a 3 band EQ as never seen a bass with a single pup which had a blend pot before every day is a school day lol
  17. thanks for the info. Sorry that is what I meant by split coil - a pup you can switch between coils like I could on my Infinity SN TCS when I had it. I assume the stacked EQ pot has a push pull top half to switch between coils?
  18. You know what they say about polishing turds though....
  19. Beautiful! Not seen one of these before, lovely figuring! Is that pup a split coil?
