  1. Sale only thanks. Built in Germany in 2009 this is a Warwick Thumb Bolt On 4. All original except the nut which has been upgraded to the brass Warwick Just A Nut III. The bass is in excellent condition with only a few very minor surface marks as shown in the photos. Other than this the bass is perfect working order: the electronics are fully functional and operate without and unwanted hiss or noise, all of the hardware operates without issue and the truss rod, although a little stiff, works. The relief is currently set to 0.15" or 0.381mm. The action is very low but without buzz. The bass has been cleaned and professionally setup. The fretboard has been cleaned and oiled, frets polished, nut polished and the bass has been freshly waxed with Warwick wax. There is little fret-wear, since these are the Warwick super-tough bell-brass jumbo frets. I would say they are at 85-90%. Included in the sale is a brand new, high quality ABS hard case to protect this beauty during shipping. I will add additional packaging within the case and the case will ship within its original packing box to protect it as well. I will only ship using a fully tracked and insured service for everyone's piece of mind. Specs are as follows: Body/neck wood: Ovangkol Fingerboard wood: Wenge Weight: 4.1Kg Scale: 34 inch String spacing (bridge) 19mm String spacing (nut) 11mm MEC active pickups 2 Band MEC Pre-amp with active/passive switching Brass Just a Nut III Brass 3D Bridge Entering the serial number on the Warwick website confirms this: Serial number: A14877809 Article number: 1224030000BZOVAOWW produced: 2009-01-09 Description: Thumb BO, 4-string Natural Oil finish Ovangkol body Ovangkol neck Black hardware Made in Germany I'm based in Dudley, West Midlands. shipping is £17.50 within mainland UK. shipping to most of Europe is £37.50 and to the US is £55.00
  2. Beautiful bass and good price. I dont want to be rude but are you sure the pickups are not Delano rather than Di Marzio?
  3. I was lazy when I installed it so didnt fit the resistor to stop the "popping" when switching between the mid-points as I figured I would not be doing that mid-song and never saw me selling this bass. Glad its sorted now.
  4. the figuring on the fretboard is just gorgeous. Gotta love a bit of birdseye maple!
  5. Stunning bass mate! Unless my eyes deceive me that is a JANI not III. Very strange to see one fitted on a 2006 made 'wick but maybe it was requested as a custom option? or retro fitted...
  6. Gorgeous bass but the headstock shape is a let down IMO
  7. sorry to hear of your misfortune. that is a stunning bass, GLWTS!
  8. My first proper bass was a TRB 4II. They really are sublime basses. Build quality is sensational as is the tone and playability
  9. Why on earth would you choose to take exception to me posting that? I was merely attempting to make a whimsical reply on the back of the previous post. I linked the previous thread to save people repeating themselves whilst also sharing the info already contained within it. Peace
  10. If you want some epoxy glue FOC send me your address and I will pop some in the post for you
  11. There's a someone looking for one of these in the wanted section...
  12. Stunning bass and bargain price! Won't be here long
  13. wow, a vintage ugly stick, must be time to bump the price up in that case!
  14. That is rather lovely looking! GLWTS
  15. I am surprised she hasnt found a loving home yet. She is one of the easiest, lightest and most well balanced basses I have ever owned. The EQ I installed also makes her really versatile and the act/pass option is always helpful. The EQ also has a mid selector just FYI
  16. haha you arent helping mate I am supposed to be having a purge at the mo!
