  1. lovely, not seen a 6 string BO with a Wenge neck before! that must have been an expensive option at the time knowing Warwick
  2. Jesus wept, what has happened here??? https://reverb.com/item/9692862-warwick-streamer-1994-6-string-bass-modified Never mind the top horn, look at the bloody neck joint fiasco. something about the rest of it doesnt seem right to me either.
  3. leave this one mate, the repair would be very difficult as there is a lot of wood missing when you compare the headstock to the remains of the neck. it's worth £100 for the parts IMO
  4. Wow that's very pretty! Which pups are they? They look MM size but the only ones I've seen Warwick use are shaped differently...
  5. its a pro II mate. totally legit and a very decent bass in it's own right if not on the same level as a Pro I. Built in Japan i believe using German hardware and electronics
  6. definitely german made(this time lol) and very cheap: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Left-hand-Warwick-Corvette-bass/183033227091?hash=item2a9da16753:g:sHYAAOSwRTVaZ082
  7. I would say the casting was less the mutt's nuts and more the mules'...
  8. Nasty looking machineheads and just cheap looking in general with the mock MY build. Not like the later nasty Vantage basses with the set necks and terrible bridges...
  9. When you say they are too big do you mean they won't for through the holes in the headstock? If that is the case you will need to tell us the diameter of the holes so we can advise suitably. I take it you aren't keen to drill the holes to increase their diameter to for your existing machineheads? Photscould also help
  10. Every day is a school day! To be fair though I dont think Warwick would have put their name to the Chinese made one's if they were bad so 200 I would have thought would be a reasonable price? Be interested to hear if that's not the case though...
  11. Oh right sorry if that's the case. Thought the original German built Rockbasses ones had the one piece bridge and the laterChinese had the 2 piece bridge
  12. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F122922813889 Bargain me thinks!
  13. its dirt cheap. I paid £800 for mine ex-demo 18 years ago! I sure ive seen them sell on ebay for 4-500. post xmas market slump in action
  14. sweet baby jesus that is sexy!!! Just when my GAS was getting under control!
  15. every day is a school day! these are truly special instruments and im sure this will not hang around too long. good luck with your sale. you dont mention if it comes with a hardcase...? would also be worth mentioning the weight as mine is quite light. here's a few pics of mine for comparison:
  16. on closer inspection it looks like you are correct and this is also a broadneck. i didnt realise this was the default option back then. mine is actually from '90 so has the seperate battery box and you have to unscrew the cavity cover. anyway, this is a stunning instrument and quite rare to have the Barts in there.
