1. I am looking to replace the pots that are used to cut/boost the treble and bass on my Warwick Streamer as the ones I have are knackered. They are 100k and have the centre detent to indicate the neutral position. I cannot seem to find them on any of the UK spare parts sites but maybe I am just being dense? Any help appreciated.
2. I have the same bass with the Bartolinis but a broad neck and a different pre amp. You would have to pry it from cold dead hands!!!!
3. http://basschat.co.uk/topic/49897-how-to-shim-a-neck/page__pid__496281#entry496281 See this thread for "how to" And confirms why you would do it
4. Sounds like you need a shim or spacer under the neck i.e.. between it and the body. Well done for giving your time to help sort these basses for the kids.
5. no worries. haha no, but they are available from Thomann cheaper than they are from Warwick! There is also a guy on ebay selling the brass just-a-nut I but a generic version not a Warwick
6. no worries. let me speak to my suppliers in China, they should be able to help. How many gold ones do you need? Dudgeman, how many do you need and what colour? I should be able to get them FOC considering I do millions of £s worth of business with them each year lol.

9. Bump to correct that only the Warwick Straplock set now left! Sorry Mart!
10.
I believe that is that is streamer stage 1.
Hey, beautiful pair of blondes you have!! Thanks for your comment. This one definitely says 'Streamer Bass' on the truss rod cover. It was my initial thought that it was made before Warwick had the Stage 2 so it was the "only" Streamer they had. But I thinkthat theory fally down because I seem to recall seeing both Stage 1 and Stage 2s from before 1990 when mine was born...
11. I recently finished restoring this beauty, a 1990 Warwick Streamer with a broadneck and barts. I really need to take some better photos that better show the flaming in the maple, but for now these will have to suffice: btw, can anyone tell me the difference between this Streamer and a Stage 1 please as I cant see that there is any difference? Mine has a 2 band EQ and is active/passive. Because I want it to be as versatlie as possible I will be installing switches to select between coils on each of the barts, should be fun and rewarding! As it is though, it is the best bass I have ever owned or played in terms of tone. It snarls like a rabid dog if needed but can also be tamed and shaped to whatever else you need it to be. I think this is THE bass for me!!!
12. sweet baby jesus that is a beautiful bass!!!
13. I can't see the photos on my mobile. Anyone else have this problem?
14. Final price drop bump. Now £525 inc shipping within UK.
15. For those of us not in the know, what is a Wal JG bass and how do they differ from a "normal" Wal?
16.
Looks like Camphor burl or Thuya burl to me!
I believe it is walnut burl.
17. very tempted to buy this back but I will resist and let someone else have a turn! deal with Stuart with confidence!
18. Just the Warwick Straplock set now left!
19. definitely not a pro job at converting it to its present shape. looks more like a hack to me...
