1. be careful with how hot your bass's output is. I blew the input on a soundcard when I plugged one of mine in - it runs 18V active EQ though. you can get some very decent soundcards which have a front mounted module that is the same size as a DVD-ROM drive that will have 1/4" jack inputs and RCA outputs to make connecting your bass very easy as well as listening to it.
 2.
And the horror continues into the body. Also the G string hangs over the edge of the headstock. Very poor.
I quite like that body but agree the headstock is a very poor design. That nut must of had a hard life!
 3. Try D'angelo's album Voodoo which features the rather talented Pino Paladino! His latest album is also exceptional: https://youtu.be/lZoxdPGu_4E
 4.
Thanks guys, it is just a volume knob I need, as apposed to a full pot. I'll have a look in the market place. Checked Thomann this morning and it defienlty said 30 euros for delivery!
Where do you live? I just checked thomann website and it quoted me 10 Euro for shipping....

Checked Thomann this morning and it defienlty said 30 euros for delivery!
Seriously, check the Warwick website. There is a shop section and I am 100% sure delivery is 10euro.
 7.
Sorry if this has been posted before! Had a look online and Thomann sell loads of spares but the shipping is 30 euros, for a £5 volume knob... Anyone know of any UK distributors where I can get spares from? Cheers, J.
You can buy from Warwick direct. Shipping is 10 Euro I think. Thomas shopping isn't normally that expensive from what I remember? I thoughy it was also 10Euro?
 8.
That's an abomination.
Considering it could be headless as well, there really is no excuse for such a hideous head. I really like the body aesthetics though.
 9.
Post some bad headstockery please http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222419696883 Many thanks to dyerseve for his original post.
You're welcome. Let's not forget this monstrosity on an otherwise very nice looking instrument: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=229305
 10. Ive got the cash but I dont really need a second one...

 12.
Now 2 300!!!!!!
If only that meant 600 lol!
 13. for anyone else looking for Yamaha spares, Yamaha can always put you in touch with companies that stock spare parts. I managed to source a battery housing for my '99 TRB4 II as recently as last year!
 14. Just about the worst thing I have ever seen!!! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222419696883
 15. Could be one or more frets may have raised and need to be reseated. Have a look at the frets from side on to see if any look higher than the others.
 16. What difference does it make? You either want to sell your bass or you dont. Their money is as good as everyone else's. If you werent happy with the amount offered then you could turn it down. They are under no obligation to identify who they are when buying your bass.
 17.
Must be some mega overheads/wages at £600 markup for 2 days!
Yeah because they have a crystal ball that tells them thats how its going to happen! It could have been two weeks, two months or two years before that bass sold. In that time they have cash tied up in that instrument and overheads to cover. If you sold it to them the presumably you got what you wanted for it. Not sure what your problem is with a business making a profit...
 18. I just use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment. Use a paintbrush for the bridge to free the dust so the vacuum can do the rest.
 19. Could be a chancer or could be I misguided or misinformed person looking at the price of other US Fenders...
 20.
http://bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Status_Series_2000.html If anyone wants to know anything about this feel free to ask! Just how much do they charge for a polish and string change!!??
Yeah, not like they have overheads or staff to pay I guess... It's already gone though so guess their price wasn't too unreasonable either...
 21.
And yet, the world carried on without him . . . and all those other so-called influential people of their generation who died 'too soon'. I don't mean that disrespectfully, just pointing out that life is very short and ultimately meaningless, so make the most of it while you can.
If it's meaningless why make the most of it? At least you chose your username well.
 22. I dont know dude it's not mine. I just posted it because I thought it was a bargain for someone here...
 23. https://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/bass-musicman-hard-case-velvet-interior/1218102324 Seems like a bargain to me!
