  1. I’ve seen some great HB shorty mods. Also, they do this: https://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_mv_4msb_gotoh_sfg.htm?glp=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIzb_jv_KA_gIV_UiRBR0EKAxVEAQYASABEgIMlPD_BwE
  2. My current favourite colour combo - nice!
  3. Any excuse to post a pic of my build 😂 Built from @Phil Starr’s awesome house jam micro cab plans 👍
  4. Pretty sure that link is a bass amp! Here’s another… https://ashdownmusic.com/products/b-stock-ctm-30-little-stubby
  5. No idea, but I like the short scale offset. Noice. Might be talking about the same one!
  6. Mark Gooday posted it on instagram. Probably right re cost though. Might be worth asking anyway.
  7. I see Ashdown have mentioned the possibility of building some small tube amps from their UK custom shop. Love the surf green option. And the gold. And the cream.
  8. What about those Sire Ps? Roasty neck with rolled fretboard edges…. Mmm, roasty.
  9. I might be late to the party on this (I usually am), but couldn’t see any other posts about these. 4x10 & 2x12, 1000w, $1600 a piece.
  10. That’s a cracking colour combo, too!
  11. Hello, Trying to get quotes for sending a Hohner Pianet to South Korea (not a bass, but similar sized package). Cheapest quotes are about £150 so far. Has anyone send an instrument from here to there previously? Who did you use? Anyone to avoid? Thanks in advance!
  12. Corr! That turned out nice!
  13. I beg to differ; it’s not finished until you share pics.
  14. I think the guy’s playing is quite cool… maybe a little pitchy at times, but still better than mine! Daft concept, and not something I’d use, but looks like it works well. Speaking of wells, there appears to be one to allow for popping. Nice touch (for slappers).
  15. AKG D112? Only had my cab mic’d on a couple of gigs ever, and the soundies struggled with feedback. I assume that was them rather than the D112 though! I’d pick the Beyer that you already said you liked though.
  16. That’s quite nice. I like.
  17. I had to use an old Trace combo at a venue when my (now retired) Peterson combo failed during sound check. The Trace weighed sooooooo much trying to lump it on to the 5ft high stage from the storage area, but by god was it worth it. Best sound I’ve ever had!
  18. A Trace Elliot you can use but not have to move?! I’d just use it, myself.
  19. Unsure about the other cameras you mentioned without googling specs, but for phone recording there is an awesome app called AudioShare (for Android and iOS). You can set the recording level manually. Not sure if that overrides the video audio levels though - I shall experiment… Edit: no, the video’s audio reverts to normal. Forget the above (still a good app though).
  20. Doh! Missed the link 🤡 I incorrectly assumed you were after advice, which was going to be “So long as the input gain is manually adjustable and auto-level control disabled, it should be fine.” Will have a listen on headphones before spouting any more crap 😂
  21. It’s really easy to add shielding to your current instruments. Go on YouTube to see how it’s done, and have a go!
  22. Is this to record gigs? What camera are you using?
  23. It was a combination of bass and Moog apparently. I can play it straight, but just wanted some ideas on making an appropriate representation of the synth sound with effects.
  24. That, and then a Moog 😂 Thats a bit beyond my current needs. Just after some effects that might get me close to an approximation. Octaver and….. ???
  25. Hello. The guitarist started playing this at last rehearsal, and I started playing along from memory. Quite fancy gigging it! I appreciate the part was originally played on a Moog, but any pointers on what sort of effects I could utilize to approximate with a 4 string? Preferably on the Zoom effects list too 😂
