  1. Stunning shiny photogenic Mustang CV bass in Olympic white, with both mint white and tort scratchplates. Bought from @jezzaboyof this parish just three months ago. Looks great, plays great, feels great, IS great! Wife-friendly - the only one that was allowed in the sitting room! Alas, it’s just not for me. I really need something with 24 frets and access to them. A previous keeper had put holes in for a thumb rest, so the tort guard has holes too. Can’t see them at all with the (massively visually superior) minty guard. There is a small imperfection in the finish on the lower waist edge (pictured) but I guess that’s why it’s £250!! UK postage included.
  2. Two used scratchplates/pick guards. Black/white/black -£10 White single ply, “naturally” aged - £10 UK postage included.
  3. A set of four Lollipop tuners! The best shape for a Fender bass! These are the USA ones, not licensed. 1/2” shafts, you need 19mm holes. Stupid light, chrome “ears”, satin shafts. Includes screws & washers. Price incl UK postage.

  4. I have one in my other P-bass - they are excellent!
  5. An excellent high quality replacement solderless loom. CTS pots, Switchcraft jack, “vintage” cap. I have them in all my basses as they are great. Would keep it for the next project, but it’s nearly Christmas so I need funds! Price incl UK postage.
  6. Squier chrome bridge for a 4 string. What else is there to say?! Oh yeah, comes with screws. Price incl UK postage.
  7. A set of excellent ToneRider pickups. A quick search in Basschat will reveal these are highly regarded. I am sad to let them go (part of a fantastic bitsa) but needs must. If I ever get another P, I’ll get another set in a flash. £30 posted in the UK.
  8. Black Squier P-Bass body - nice & light, signs of use but nothing crazy. 2.1 kgs Looks like it has carbon shielding paint. Good quality pickup foam still stuck in. UK postage included.
  9. Parting out my lovely bitsa. Big shame as it played beautifully. But something new and shiny caught my eye, you know the way it goes. The “PeaTurgh” transfer is not sealed in, so will come off easily enough (Rothcoe & Frost water slide thingy). Or you can leave it on just in case I make something of myself and you can sell it to pay for a Ferrari in 20yrs time? Beautifully figured maple, gloss finish, amber vintage tint. Rosewood fretboard. Off-white binding. Brand unknown, which is a shame, as I really want an all-maple version eventually! Standard P specs - for 34” scale instrument, 42mm nut, 63mm (maybe a hair over) at the heel. A bit of finish and wood got stuck to the body around the top screw holes where it bolts to the body - shown in pictures. An unfortunate cosmetic-only occurrence (also completely invisible when attached to a body). Let me know if you want any other measurements. Postage included.
  10. Forgot about this - needs to shift so will break for bits. To be listed soonish (but PM me if you are impatient 😂)
  11. What about continuing as-is, then glue when the finish is finished? Wick in some superglue and clamp?
  12. The back looks nice & even, hopefully the top will after drying out properly. Are you going for a satin or gloss?
  13. I always wanted to be a drummer, but lack of funds or suitable place to practice never materialized. Got given a bass at 14yrs old so that was that. Onwards to music college, had to choose a second instrument - drums it was. Had an awesome teacher called Martyn Webber. Had a kit every now and again when practical, even gigged as a drummer for two or three gigs! Flash forward again, my eldest takes up the drums, gets kit, gets alright, chucks it in. Now, I have a partially built garden room and a Premier Olympic kit waiting to go in! 12/14/20 mahogany shells, a Super Zyn ride and some Tosco hats - all of it older than me, and sounds great!
  14. I rest my case. (and sorry for the major de-rail!) I love speakers! More pictures of home built transducer enclosures!!!
  15. Probs left out the part about sobbing outside their house for two hours.
  16. Come on, they’re twice as big as from the middle to the edge, obvs!
  17. I beg to differ. Example: How many pieces of pizza can you fit in a trombone?
  18. That’s exactly like the one I played as a teen in the 90’s but couldn’t afford! When you get bored of it, can you let me know, please?!
  19. That’s almost exactly what I want! I’d go with a black anodized aluminium guard. Love walnut & roasted maple!
  20. I had a Hohner Jack with EMG Select pickups. I accidentally ruined the preamp so swapped it for a Ki0gon loom - pickups sounded great!
  21. Works for me! 😂😂😂
  22. That looks like an awesome beast! I’d be tempted to see what cream strat knobs look like on it - the pu covers and bridge give. Different vibe to a P visually.
  23. Love it!
  24. Pretty sure it was this model I used once when my non-Trace combo packed up 5 minutes before a gig. The best sound I ever had! I felt like a god. If I had the space/money/permission-from-the-mrs for a fourth amp, you’d have a pm.
  25. Looks great! How heavy/light is it?
