“The Jack”. Sold mine last year. Kinda miss it, but it was a jazz width nut. Had it have been 42mm, would probably never have left. Sooo ergonomic!
  2. The dB figure would probably be huge I guess? Looks like it’s going to be beautiful, btw!
  3. Fane Sovereign 6-100. I’d fitted it to a cheapo guitar combo in a bid to make it useable, but decided to do the full cab instead.
  4. That looks great! Have to wait til the weekend to sort mine - borrowing a mate’s circular saw to chop up some 18mm ply (plans adjusted to keep the internal dimensions)
  5. Liking the look of that! Will it work if the fretboard has already had some lemon oil on it?
  6. 3rd thread for this pic now. Getting my money’s worth.
  7. Love the contrast between the precision machining, then shaping the front face of the headstock with an angle grinder 😂😂😂
  8. If go no other reason than a darn good laugh, yes, I will take photos 👍
  9. Ooh, I didn’t see the plans were up! Going to raid the shed for wood this week then…
  10. 4x6 line array that doubles as a bass stand?
  11. Holy cow - hell of a collection!
  12. That’s a lovely lump of wood. One piece, too. 👍
  13. Where did you say the charity shop is again?
  14. Crying out for a neck swap!
  15. Had a look at their site - lightweight “lollipop” tuners, short scale neck, mudbucker - all nicely priced. Well fancy a little project now!
  16. I liked the Barracuda bass I tried at the SW Bass Bash. Nice chaps, too.
  17. Looks like an Aphex Twin video 😂
  18. Hello. This looks Warwick shaped but the headstock is wrong. What is it?
  19. Hermes. Now there’s a shitshow.
  20. Just about to start cutting up loads of wood to build out the inside of my garden music room (starting with 4 vent boxes/silencers), so this will be a parallel endeavor!
  21. Where can I find this talking horse? I’ve never seen one in real life.
  22. Or one that has a built-in compressor, tuner and an octaver - Complete Bastard.
  23. Oh my gawd! That with the black plate is my kind of perfect! Just bought another bass and a drum kit, so I’m spent. Damn!
  24. Love Jabba’s work - beautiful attention to detail. I touched one once - it was about 18” - mega tiny short scale. Would love to rock up to a gig with that! One day…
  25. As always with me - might be waiting a while! I’ve got windows being fitted to my garden music room tomorrow, so most spare time will be spent getting the inside built. Then there’s my slight obsession with drums that developed whilst recovering from Covid 😂
