    I was looking at mic stands this evening wondering what the best option was. Fortuitous. The Sound company we use have all K&M stuff, and that’s faring pretty well. Interesting to hear Studiospares do a copy - what is the model number?

    Speaking of sales, I’m still toying with the idea of selling my Peterson combo, will bring it along just in case I feel like selling and someone feels like buying! (I have a seller subscription so I’m not flouting the forum rules).

    Good job it’s a rosewood fingerboard- maple with that colour purple headstock would make it look like a big dong!

    Still pondering pick ups here, but I won’t do them until I do the wiring and shield the cavities. Where has Kaigon gone? I can’t find his profile to enquire about a loom!

    Gosh golly Andy - I knew it’d be good, but that is fantastic! It has the vibe of an acoustic guitar, and I think that will be such a good match to the traditional bass neck.

    Ah man that little Ashdown rig again! I’d have that and the Trace head if I were closer (3.5hr drive each way - won’t swing that time off with the Mrs looking after the kids on the weekend!!!)

    Agreed - that is a great colour combo. I love the look of roasted maple. Flamed too is just the icing on the cake.

    Old school tone, you say? Sounds like BF Two10 would suit your needs - the 12” drivers are usually referred to as a more “hifi” sound.

    I think it’s a nice contrast. Or is it even that? Both the headstock and the body are very close to traditional shapes of much older instruments. I’m looking forward to the outcome. Would love to see at the SW bass bash!
