  1. Yeah . . . no, if someone asked me to go down that route for a band, they'd need full reconstructive surgery 🙂 I mean, look like the part for the band yeah, but not injecting botulism into your face, if I end up looking like Keith Richards sack so be it! by Chris 37 and I look bad for my age

  5. Great Bass distortion Pedal from Damnation audio Filtered clean blend, eq mid point shift, can go from warm to extreme with a few tweaks. Boxed in good nick, just picked it up tried it and decided it wasn't for me. My quest continues . . Price includes postage to mainland UK.
  6. Excellent condition pedal, sounds awesome, full fat lovely clean blend with a light comp to it. *Trade options:* Gigrig qm2 One control mosquito blend. Boxed with manual, has velcro on bottom. Postage included mainland UK. The Ground & Pound has been designed to combine the two pedals that Justin Chancellor uses to help achieve his signature distorted tone, the Turbo Rat with the Bass EQ, and it successfully combines them into a single box with a very compact and easy to use control layout. We’ve also added a blend control, labelled ‘Mix‘, which has a very musical compression ratio (2:1) on the clean signal. This mixes very well with the distorted sound and just adds to the overall playing experience. Top Mounted Jacks Wide gain spectrum from light overdrive to heavier distortion No Bass loss Dynamic touch sensitiveness Built-in compression (2:1) on the clean signal Equalizable distortion 9v to 18v operation Size: 122 x 66 mm 9v to 18v operation Current draw 9.5 mA (9v); 19 mA(18v)

      Excellent!

  9. NAD. Upgraded the Abm 600 for the new 750. Perfect
  10. Love this, better footprint than the KMA Tyler, but as I have up to 3 drives on my board and I know at least one flips the phase, which will cancel out the lows, plus then you gotta get a decent comp to chuck in the low loop too. Are there mini phase flipper pedals like the Saturn works buffer you can chuck after a phase flipping pedal? . . . Great on paper, if your using it for maybe 1 drive pedal, but expensive just for that, and there are a fair few out there now with decent clean blends / crossovers built in.
  11. Finally, after 3.5 years I've finally had my inheritance that was gifted to me.

  12. For sale: Used, has Velcro applied, no original box but will be packaged accordingly. Great little boom tamer. Will take actual photos when I get home from work, but good condition and does what it says it does. Website spiel below: MINI-HP-VONG is the little brother of VONG-Filterung. It consists of an 1MΩ input buffer and an adjustable High-Pass Filter (2nd order; -12dB/Oct.). The cut-off frequency can be adjusted continuously between 30 Hz and 140 Hz. The MINI-HP-VONG is a tool to adjust your sound to the room you’re playing in. Boomy room acoustics can be mitigated. To do that, just set the pot as high as needed, but as low as possible to keep your low-end. Also it can protect your speakers from subsonic frequencies produced by suboctave octavers or playing technique (e.g. Slap/Pop/Thumbing) Additionally it is also nice to drastically cut the bottom end with the MINI-HP-VONG and then add a bass boosting pedal to your chain. That way you’ll get a tight but super punchy sound. Specs: Enclosure:| A (38 mm x 90 mm x 30 mm) Jacks: | “top-mount” Bypass Type: | no bypass – always on Input Voltage:| 9V (centre negative), (24V max.) Current-Draw:| 5mA @ 9V Price Includes postage to mainland UK Or Located at J28 of M1
  13. Very luckily as my Mrs is a tattooist! Free tattoos! Woo Yes I have 2 bass related ones amongst others. . .
  14. Wouldn't mind it on the ABM's or as just a stand alone DI, that would be ideal
  15. Like the idea of the analogue cab sim on the DI, tempted
  16. Went up to the "green room" to store said gear, treated myself to the 1 or 5 slices of the 9 boxes of pizza laid on by the promoter, grabbed a few of the free beers and went back down to the gig room to watch the next bands.

  18. My first proper bass, Warwick corvette 1998, got it with my 18th birthday money and a months wages, back in 2005, i'll never get rid of it, but I have regular gigging basses that take precedence
  19. I have 2 - BF 210's For rehearsals I just use one, against a Marshall 412 and loud drummer. We play hard rock / grunge / stoner stuff, where the bass is quite prominent. The right amp and setting and your laughing. In comparison, prior to this I had an Ashdown Neo 210 for rehearsals and although that was a good little cab, quite directional, and had to have it sat vertical to get a decent pull. The BF 210 is more akin to other brands 410's. It goes louder, deeper and disperses better. I can keep it horizontal and not have to worry about not hearing it.
  20. I use Google Sheets, its free, its a spreadsheet, cloud based, can access anywhere. easy!
