  1. Deffo man, hopefully some where larger than the Gryphon! Not that there's anything wrong with it lol! Ahh shady man, would love to do that, we've had loads of killer shows binned off 😭. Fingers crossed we're all good sooon! When it's safe ofcourse. See you on the road dude!
  2. Alright Andy! Yeah good mate, how's you guys? yeah, after a good few weeks of thinking it over now, deffo gonna pick up a 210 when money is good again, i think a 410 and 210 will be ideal. would love the 610, but it does some what limit the options modular wise!
  3. This might help dude! Ashdown on barefaced thread
  4. Yeah man, the bf 210 is switchable 4/12 ohms, with the 410 at 8ohms I could use it at 12 ohms, using 1 head it'd run at 4.8. roughly getting 60% to the 410 and 40% to the 210. Next level would be getting a second head to run each cab separate.
  5. Yep, thinking how to break it to the Mrs lol guess I'm too late now 😭
  6. For sale! Ehx Bass soul food. £50 posted. No original box but will be appropriately packaged. Awesome dirty boost pedal. All in good nick, with Velcro on bottom, can remove and clean up if requested
  7. I read somewhere he auditioned for metallica back int day. Not sure if true
  8. Ha if only, could afford the extra cash to ship the whole rig on a Ryan air flight, The bass and a sansamp is good enough, they use a great Ashdown set up for the festival over there, think it's an Evo 3 900 watt head and an 810. Still nice and loud! Love trace, I do wish they were still going properly, or bass amp companies made amps like that, we do have Ashdown though !
  9. Yeah man we were 20 gigs in, loads of awesome gigs have gone tits up. Should have been in Ibiza last week 😭. At least 90 percent are rescheduled for next year. Just itching to make loud noises so bad. Yeah it's a bugger. Either is gonna be killer 😬
  10. Nah it's awesome, really feel part of the crew now haha, 6 a one half a dozen of the others. Did a 5 date support tour in Feb, really opened my eyes, we gig 100+ a year but as we were main support for a headline band we got to play some kickass venues. Because of this we were invited back for a 14 date tour in Oct Nov (covid permitting) hence the want to upgrade to a bigger rig, travel wise if I can find half the drums off to another member either will be fine. Bread and butter gigs. . .many options depending on location, taking turns driving etc, in all honesty I'm swaying towards the 210 to complement my four10, but as I type that. The 610 makes me happy as well
  11. Yeah man when I was chatting with Alex, he highly rated it, bear in mind I went from a TE 600 to this, i know I know haha, I originally had a bf big twin t but I don't get in with 12s, I like to growl and sit on the low mids, the 12s are too "plain" for me
  12. Last year majority of the gigs we just took heads and breakables and used whatever was there, great from trying different stuff, rubbish for ending up on a gig going through something rubbish haha, now I have the bf cab I always take it with me cos I can guarantee a great time, now we're doing bigger gigs hence the original info kicking off this post
  13. Yeah man considering I can pick the bf up with one hand no issues and it's sounds bigger than an 810. Ashdown make awesome cabs but bf just bring the tone to life and project it right up my guitarist derrière!
  14. I've had more cabs and heads in my small time in this earth, not anything special, but I've been after that tone in my head, if you get me. I always thought it was the amp so I kept chopping and changing that, when you realise the amp isn't necessarily the issue and try a barefaced cab then boom!
  15. Also, if the grand masterpiece comes to fruition. Can you take the line out to the input of a second head?
  16. Thanks dude, thought I'd seen a few guys ask about them
  17. Damn you! I really had my eye on the rack mount ones from the main website in the B stock builds. But that'd mean getting two of them! I'm sure you can get rack ears for the normal ones anyway 😬.
  18. 😂 I know I love it. Plan A (most expensive) Would be the 210 and 410 and 2 ABM 600 to run each cab at appropriate volumes and tweaked EQ. As well as if one went tits up on tour I can use the other 1. I do normally take two heads on a long run tour but I usually borrow one off a mate. A 1200 would be amazing but I wish it had separate volume controls for each power section @Ashdown Engineering or a bridge mode 😱😉😉. Plan b (not quite as expensive) Is either get the 610 or the 210 with my existing 410 and just run 1 head. Argh!
  19. Fortunately never had that issue, but being the one in the band that has the estate car I do usually get lumbered with the kit and cabs 🤔
  20. Thanks guys If I went for the two 10 it is the switchable one, 12 ohms plus 8 ohms from the four 10 would be 4.8 load which would be cool. The six 10 has wheels! If I do go for the two cab option I'd probably spend even more on a second head 😂. Mam this is hard
  21. Hey guys, Opinions, I have an ABM 600 through a BF four 10. I have the opportunity to either get a two 10 to slap on top or trade up to a six 10. What would you do? 😎
  22. My backs still good 😂 I can still handle the A/B goodness
