  1. Awesome pedal. Reel saturation, can go warm to full fuzzy goodness, with 3 different clipping stages. No OG box but will be secure. Velcro on bottom. With 3 drive pedals already I have no room and got bills coming up. postage UK mainland included
  2. EHX Deluxe bass muff - has a crossover section. https://www.ehx.com/products/deluxe-bass-big-muff-pi/ Alternatively . . Lusithand Ground and Pound - I have one, the bottom end remains huge due to solid clean blend with light compression, gain can be light to intense, very versatile https://lusithanddevices.com/product/ground-pound/

  4. Thanks both Yeah I've got emgs in my corvette albeit a jazz set VVT, so this is my first experience with an MM style humbuck and a single coil with a full active preamp. AHH I've used elixirs for years and everything else feels weird to me now. I understand sticking some emgs in I'd have to get one of the preamps also. I was looking at alternative Delano humbuckers, I believe the one currently in is Alnico magnets which gives it that distinct tone so maybe a straight swap with a non Alnico Delano would be easier. Hesitate to open it all up until I'm certain though. I'll keep investigating, I've got an EQ pedal to play with too so that might help
  5. So few weeks into owning my Sandberg TM4 and although it sounds great at home, I just cant get it to sit right with the band. I don't know much about Delano's but long story short they are a bit too hifi to play nice in the mix, read few threads dotted about online with suggesting similar. Its two band preamp(bass and treble/tone when passive), switch for single coil / humbucker on the MM style bridge pickup, balance control and master volume/push pull for active passive. I'm after less sparkly top end and more low mid range punch. Ideal world I'm a fan of EMG's but I don't think I could drop in a set without getting an EMG preamp too. would an alternative Humbucker drop in and onto the preamp easy? Anyone else done this?

  7. I keep thinking this will be the next purchase, but honestly I reckon now I have your old two10's the ABM 1200 4 ohms a side would be ideal! mwahahaha. Seen a few knocking about in the wild though, although my 600 has never left me wanting
  8. Picked up the MegaPara from Sine Effects, Ordered Wednesday arrived Thursday! Really tweakable and usable EQ!
  9. Lusithand pedals, both the Ground and Pound distortion, and the Alma comp https://lusithanddevices.com/product-category/pedals/ both awesome!
  10. Thanks dude, I can't put it down!
  11. Been and home, got a new bass, I believe it was Marcus on the desk, was sound as owt, no complaints!
  12. Just been in and bought a new bass, was sound as anything and let me try out loads. So can't complain
  13. I'm off this week and I'm tempted to head down (hour and a half drive) Can you just rock up? I'm not socially attuned as I used to be, is the customer attitude as bad as it seems? I really can't be arsed with dealing with it haha
  14. That and it's kinda hard to steady an amp that's wider on top too I guess.
  15. In the market for a new bass.

    Some tough choices!

Ah, interesting.  You should have some choice as lots out there.  I've always enjoyed Sandberg TTs and currently rocking a very nice Fender Roadworn 60th Anniversary Jazz bass (MIM).

I know these are a bit marmite (the roadworn bit) but I like them.  Having said that I have recently acquired an Ibanez Grooveline G104 (essentially a Jazz bass with active and passive options) which I can't seem to put down so at some point the Fender may well go.

Yeah man, I think I'm being too fussy, I have a corvette and a thumb both active and wenge fingerboards, so I like that vibe, just in the process of selling an Electra p bass so I do like the build of Sandberg's.

There's a fender jbr-80 going no idea if that's any good. Really need to try some out but everywhere is far away!

  16. Not marketing bs couldn't care less what the makers say, that's my tried and tested opinion, you're right, no magic fairy dust, just better tech than some speakers in a wooden box.
  17. You could gig easily with a bf 210, in any orientation. Volume and dispersion is by far superior to any standard cab. Think of any bf cab being louder at half the size A bf 210 compared to a standard 410 A bf 410 compared to a fridge.
