I started off with a big twin t, and older variation of the 2x12. it was very loud, honest and more hi fi. again it's all about what your after. I prefer the 10s as they have that vintage baked in tone which is more for my sound. Volume wise, they're all bloody loud. I did have a four ten which I used soundly for years but an opportunity came up to trade for 2 two tens. Modular goodness, I like taking just 1 for practice, probably would easily get away with 1 at a gig, but if there's room in car . .

Absolutely everything you need.

https://lusithanddevices.com/product/ground-pound/ Not long had one of these bad boys, sounds fat, clean blend has a mild comp on it (2:1) which really fattens it up. Fuzz wise, https://www.moosetwentythree.com/shop/dobsky Russian muff with clean blend and mids! chonky!

This is exactly what you described https://www.tech21nyc.com/products/sansamp/steve-harris/ Don't let the Mr Harris name put you off, it has ample eq and gain to do a multitude of tones, including SVT. 2 channel, but yeah, I had one way back when it came out. bang on

Anything is better than Mansfield. But regardless of success Nottingham has a huge vibrant music scene, but yeah, not much in the "famous" ranks. Does Jake Bug and Sleaford Mods count, I don't know I don't listen to them. Ten Years After? anyway yeah, Nottingham is great, but maybe not if you want to get famous.

Nottingham is ace

Love that Seer track, reminds me of Uncle Acid and the deadbeats too

Yeah man, just got it this weekish on the latest batch, it is very good!

Current iteration. Terrible bout of gas earlier this month . . Oh well! Ps. The Dobsky fuzz is in the t65 loop! Mwahaha New Alma MK2 and ground and pound are awesome
-
Yeah the comp is great, exactly the sound I had in my head, regarding the drives I also thought this, I don't regret it tho, it's powerful

Lusithand Alma MK2 and the Ground and Pound. both arrived from Joes pedals earlier this week and I got to try them out in anger last night as practice. I had the MK1 Alma for about a week, then saw they just dropped the mk2! well the first one sounds great, but the addition of top mounted jacks, switchable ratio and visual metering, sod it, I picked it up. One other note, this can go up to 18V (36 internally) and that made a huge difference. Anyway, sounds mint, does what it needs to and sprinkles that magic sauce. The ground and Pound is a rat style distortion, but with the tilt EQ borrowed from it's compressor brother for the tone shaping and a 2:1 ratio comp on the clean blend. that makes a huge difference, the low end retention is 2nd to none. huge fizzy goodness with a fat bottom end. Can go from full bstard to cleanish boost, can also go up to 18V, but found it sounded great at normal 9V. Anyway, both great pedals, just waiting on a new Dobsky from Moose and I'm done Gas'ing for now . . .
